Beam Communications Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of World Reach Limited (ASX: WRR), has announced the launch of RapidSat700, a portable satellite communications system that operates with the Inmarsat BGAN (Broadband Global Area Network) network. RapidSat700 is a portable “all in one case” for satellite communication deployment in emergency situations, first responder and disaster recovery work. The RapidSat700 solution is also ideal for a rapid setup providing easy access to voice and higher speed satellite data / internet access in remote areas.

The iFly Industrial Package from Delta Wave was designed for quick and easy deployment. It is a turnkey package which incorporates Beam’s IsatPhone Pro Dock, and external antenna which also incorporates GPS. All is contained in a watertight NEMA enclosure with handle for ease of transport and quick installation in indoor or outdoor environments. The unit also works with Inmarsat’s 505 emergency alert service, providing location data. A 30-ft coax cable set is Included, which should satisfy most installation requirements.

With WaveCall MCM3, Sea Tel offers simultaneous bi-directional high-speed data and voice in one small antenna dome. SeaTel’s coverage includes North America, the North Atlantic, the Caribbean and Europe. The three modems respond to demand by activating one, two or three circuits as required by the data and voice load.
