Bosch Rexroth Celebrates 50 Years in the US

2017 marks Bosch Rexroth’s 50th year of continuous operation in the United States. Starting with a small office in Easton, Pa. in 1967 and a handful of associates, Rexroth grew to expand into a newly built hydraulics manufacturing facility seven years later, the cornerstone of the company’s current manufacturing campus in Bethlehem, Pa. Härter Takes Over as CEO of ZF Marine

Effective September 1, 2014, Daniel Härter assumes the responsibility as CEO of ZF Marine Propulsion Systems. Härter will be based out of ZF Marine’s headquarters in Padova, Italy. Benz has been promoted to the Head of Corporate Key Account Management at the global ZF Group level. Tognum Leadership Changeover

The Chairman of the Executive Board & CEO of Tognum AG, Joachim Coers, to hand over to Dr. Ulrich Dohle from July 1st, 2013. The Supervisory Board of Tognum AG regretted the decision taken by Coers, which they have accepted, and thanked him for his exceptional dedication and commitment in the past nine years. In its meeting on April 19th, the Supervisory Board elected Dr. Dohle unanimous as new Chairman of the Executive Board and CEO of Tognum AG and at the same time extended his contract to 31 December 2015. Joachim Coers joined what was then MTU Friedrichshafen in 2004.

Tognum to Reduce Size of Executive Board

In January 2011, the first step taken by Tognum to establish a new global sales organisation came into force. The new organization is designed to improve the service and support provided for the company’s existing customers and above all to acquire new customers worldwide for its broadly diversified product portfolio. Peter Kneipp (53) joined MTU Friedrichshafen in 1989 as a project manager for marine propulsion systems. At an early stage in his career, Peter Kneipp was involved in projects that enabled him to acquire experience in the Asia-Pacific region, where he has worked since 1997 until the end of 2010. He initially spent several years in Singapore, where he was mainly involved in customer service and after sales.

Bosch Rexroth acquires Hägglunds Drives

Ratos has agreed on the sale of Hägglunds Drives to the German company Bosch Rexroth. ” Focused efforts in recent years to accelerate growth through investment in the sales and marketing organisation, new markets and segments, and expanded aftermarket services as well as extensive product development have laid the foundation for Hägglunds Drives’s positive development”, says Ratos CEO Arne Karlsson. ”Together with Bosch Rexroth we will be able to further develop our focus on offering complete hydraulic drive systems in several of our existing segments. We will also be able to offer our deliveries of complete hydraulic drive systems to new interesting segments as renewable energy production.
