Ellicott Dredges LLC & Rohr-Idreco Dredge Systems, which are owned by Ellicott Dredge Enterprises, LLC, has  announced that Ellicott's Latin American Sales Manager, Andres Borasino, will be adding the Rohr-Idreco deep digging dredge product lines to his area of responsibilities. The three product lines complement each other by offering customers multiple dredging options based on the their material and digging depth requirements. Andres has been with Ellicott for over four years successfully expanding the brand throughout Latin America.

The Rohr division of Rohr-Idreco Dredge Systems has announced the successful start-up of another new Floating Gantry 8m3 Clamshell deep digging dredge in France. This dredge is being used to replace an old 6m3 Rohr Gantry Clamshell dredge, which Rohr has rebuilt and sold to another customer. The new 8m3 Rohr Gantry dredge was purchased to increase the digging depth and production at an existing Sand & Gravel operation. The customer chose to go with a Rohr dredge again due to the outstanding performance and service they had experienced with their first dredge.

Rohr International Dredge Holdings, Inc. announced that it acquired Eurl Rohr France, including its current backlog, inventory and all associated intellectual property (IPR), on July 23, 2014. Rohr France, which is based in Betting, France, was a Rohr licensee and will continue at the same location, operating as a subsidiary of Rohr Bagger GmbH, a subsidiary of Rohr International Dredge Holdings, Inc. Rohr France has been a Rohr distributor and service center for over 10 years for its Land Based and Floating Bucket Ladder dredges, Clamshell dredges and conveyors to the mining industry in France. Eng. Samuel Pichowska will be the new General Manager for Rohr France and comes to Rohr France from Hazemag, a provider of engineering and equipment solutions for the mineral processing industry.

Ellicott Dredge Enterprises announced two personnel changes to its senior management team. Gert de Vries has joined as Senior Director of Engineering, in which capacity he will be supporting the engineering departments of all of Ellicott's brands, principally Ellicott and Rohr-Idreco. He will also be mentoring the company’s engineering teams. Additionally, Rob Schettle has been promoted to General Manager at Ellicott's subsidiary Liquid Waste Technology. He will now be responsible for running Ellicott’s plant in New Richmond, Wisconsin.

The National Shipbuilding Research Program's Business Process Technologies Panel elected Ken Clarke as its new Panel Chair, and Jim Rohr as returning Vice Chair, during its December 12, 2003 Panel Meeting held at the "Automation in Shipbuilding Conference" in New Orleans, Louisiana. Clarke is an employee of Northrop Grumman Newport News. He has held management positions at Newport News in Aircraft Carrier New Construction and Overhaul Nuclear Engineering, Waterfront Trades Administration, Submarine Overhaul Program Office, International Commercial Ship Marketing, Naval Business Technology Marketing, and Human Resources. His current position is Manager, Production Engineering and Program Manager for Industrial Products Sales at NGNN.
