DOF Subsea Win Multiple Offshore Contracts

DOF Subsea AS secures contracts in Asia, Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico regions with total value of about US$50-million. In the Asia Pacific Region DOF Subsea have secured several new contracts and extension of existing contracts with a total contract value of about US$ 20-million. The contract award will increase the utilisation of the region’s vessels Geobay, Skandi Singapore and Skandi Hercules. In the Atlantic region DOF Subsea have been awarded several new contracts and extension of existing contracts with a total contract value of USD 24 millions.

JSM Export Pipeline Project Awarded to Saipem America

In the US sector of the Gulf of Mexico, Saipem has been awarded the contract for the Walker Ridge export pipeline, in the framework of the development of the Jack and Saint Malo (JSM) fields, by Amberjack Pipeline Company LLC, a partnership between Chevron Pipe Line Company and Shell Pipeline Company LP, located approximately 450 kilometres (280 miles) south of New Orleans, Louisiana, in the Walker Ridge area of the US Gulf. The scope of work encompasses the transportation and installation of a crude oil export pipeline, 61 cm (24 inches) in diameter, which will have a length of 220 kilometres (136 miles), reaching a maximum water depth of 2,140 metres (7,000 feet), connecting the JSM Floating Production Unit.

U.S. Flagged Chloe Candies

Saipem America's Chloe Candies vessel spread will be available for work in August 2010. The Chloe Candies is a U.S. Flagged, 280-ft Class II DP vessel with 8,000 sq.-ft. deck area, a 20-ft x 25-ft moon pool and a 75 ton offshore rated crane. The vessel is outfitted with two Innovator ROVs, (one 150 Hp system and one 250 Hp system), surface positioning and HiPAP 500 USBL system and a deployment winch with 11,000-ft of wire to support light construction operation and IMR in up to 10,000-ft and as well as diving support.

Saipem America BP E&P Contracts

Saipem America has been awarded two contracts from BP Exploration & Production. Saipem America has been awarded a contract for the BP-operated Mad Dog drilling rig replacement project in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The scope of work includes the project management, engineering, transportation, removal of the existing drilling support module from the Mad Dog spar and installation of new drilling rig module onto the Mad Dog spar. Offshore operations are planned within the window end of 2011/early 2012. Saipem America will use the Saipem 7000, the world's largest crane vessel with the capacity to perform heavy lift operations up to 14,000 tonnes. Saipem America has been awarded a contract extension for ROV support services on the Transocean Development Driller II Drilling Rig (DDII).

U.S. Flagged HOS Mystique Available

The HOS Mystique, Saipem America’s new 250-ft class II DP ROV support vessel is currently mobilized in Fouchon, La. and available for work immediately. The HOS Mystique is a U.S. Flagged, Class II DP ROV support vessel with a healthy 4,354 sq ft of usable deck area and a permanently installed 70 ton active heave compensated NOV knuckle-boom crane. Chloé Candies, 500k Hour Without Incident

Saipem America, a worldwide provider of construction and subsea engineering services to the offshore oil and gas industry, announced that the Chloé Candies, a multi-purpose support vessel, and her crew reached 500,000 man hours without a Lost Time Incident (LTI) or a Recordable Incident.  The crew achieved the milestone mark during the period of September 25, 2006 thru July 2, 2009 - working 1,010 days without incident. The Chloe Candies is a US Flagged, Class II DP ROV support vessel with a healthy 8,000 sq.-ft. deck area inclusive of a 20 x25 ft moon pool and a permanently installed 100 ton Tele-knuckle crane. The vessel features a helideck, cinema, gymnasium, hospital and private conference room along with accommodations for 66 personnel.

Saipem America Extends Candies Charter

The Chloe Candies is currently working for a major contractor in the . Saipem ’s 250HP Innovator Leviathan ROV and a 100-ton single drum below deck winch complete the vessel spread. Saipem America Inc., as part of the Saipem Group, is a provider of construction services to the offshore oil and gas industry, specializing in engineering, construction and maintenance services.

Saipem Awarded Concrete Mattress Installation

Saipem America has been awarded the pre-crossing mattresses installation of the 20 in. Shenzi Oil Export Pipeline Project by Enterprise Field Services, LLC. The Shenzi Field development is located in 4,400 ft. of water, approximately 120 nautical miles offshore, in the Gulf of Mexico. Scope of work includes the installation of over 250 concrete mattresses for the pre -lay phase of Enterprises’s new 83 mile export pipeline in a water depths ranging from 435 to 4,325 ft. deep. Saipem America will be utilizing the HOS Innovator and the InnovatorÒ ROV to perform the transportation and installation of the Company provided concrete mattresses in multiple mobilizations. The project is expected start in early September with a completion deadline by November 1, 2007.
