IBIA Updates Sampling Equipment Guide

The International Bunker Industry Association (IBIA) has published an updated edition of its Bunker Fuel Sampling Equipment guide. The second edition of the guide reflects changes that have occurred in the sampling industry over the last three years and provides an overview of manufacturers, products and prices. "At present, only 30 per cent of bunker deliveries are sampled and tested independently. IBIA strongly recommends that all bunker deliveries are sampled so that both suppliers and buyers can ensure that the fuel delivered meets the required specifications. The guide is intended to provide suppliers and buyers with a clear picture of the sampling technology available to them.
