SeaZone Launches Free Web-Embeddable Map Widgets

Marine geospatial data provider SeaZone has created a series of map widgets to embed into web pages, available free of charge. By embedding the map widgets into a web page, the user has instant access to SeaZoneā€™s worldwide marine mapping. Data is available to purchase through one-click online purchasing, and is made available to download almost immediately. Keiran Millard, manager, SeaZone, said, ā€œOur map widgets are windows into our online store. They save time and increase convenience by enabling users to instantly browse our worldwide marine mapping data from within their own environment.

OceanWise: New Office, New Recruits

Independent marine data management, publishing and GIS specialist, OceanWise, has moved into new offices in Alton, Hampshire to support the further expansion of its business. In addition, OceanWise recruited two new members into its team. Richard Farren joins from HR Wallingford, where he was SeaZoneā€™s Marine Mapping Production Manager. He joins OceanWise as a Systems Developer and will help OceanWise deliver a growing number of Maritime Information Infrastructure projects. Janet Chaplin also joins from HR Wallingford and will transfer her previous role as SeaZoneā€™s Customer Services Manager to OceanWise. www.oceanwise.eu

Traditional Paper Charts in Electronic Format
