GWMC Appoints Strand and New Board Members

Roy Strand

Goltens Worldwide Management Corp. (GWMC) has announced the appointment of Roy Strand as Chief Operating Officer. Strand has previously served as the Vice President of Operations in the Americas and Europe, and will continue to serve as the Advisory Board Chairman within the Goltens Worldwide group of companies. Prior to joining Goltens, Strand held various managerial and global executive positions in the professional services field, including at KPMG Consulting, Netegrity and Computer Associates.

Brad L. Berman Joins Holland and Knight as Partner

New York City – April 29, 2011 – Holland & Knight is pleased to announce that Brad L. Berman has joined the firm as Partner in the firm's New York City office. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Berman served as Executive Director of the Liberian International Ship & Corporate Registry (LISCR), the world's second largest ship registry and 60+ year old corporate registry, where he oversaw all aspects of the Liberian corporate and shipping program, including corporate and other entity formation, and ship registration and mortgaging.

Class Action Lawsuit, Marine Products Price Fixing

Conspiracy involving marine fenders, buoys and pilings provokes action by public and private interests in Texas and Louisiana. Baron & Budd, P.C. attorneys, working with attorneys from Los Angeles-based Glancy Bingow & Goldberg LLC, New York securities law firm Labaton Sucharow LLP, Mobile-based Vickers, Riis, Murray and Curran, L.L.C. and Galveston attorney A. Craig Eiland, have filed suit in federal district court in Los Angeles over a web of conspiracies to fix prices and rig bids on several marine products. The Board of Trustees of the Galveston Wharves, the Board of Commissioners of the Port of New Orleans and OSG Lightering LLC, who all purchased marine products that were the subject of the conspiracies, have sued on behalf all those affected by the schemes.

Hornbeck Offshore Files Shelf Registration Statements

Hornbeck Offshore Services, Inc. has filed a universal shelf registration statement on Form S-3 and an acquisition shelf registration statement on Form S-4 with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Once declared effective by the Securities and Exchange Commission, the universal shelf on Form S-3 will enable the Company to sell from time to time, in one or more public offerings, up to $350 million of its common stock, preferred stock, debt securities or warrants to purchase common stock, preferred stock or debt securities, or any combination of such securities. In addition, the selling stockholders named in the Form S-3 may, subject to certain conditions, offer up to 2,250,000 shares of the Company's common stock in the future.
