ShipServ Signs Pact with AMOS Group

ShipServ, the marine eProcurement platform for ship operators, announced it is set to deliver a full supplier integration solution for AMOS Group Ltd, the SGX-listed global provider of diversified products services and solutions to the marine and offshore industries.The new full integration solution will enable AMOS Group to increase efficiencies and the speed of processing multiple transactions, significantly reducing labour time as well as quickly responding to RFQs. ShipServ opens Singapore office

ShipServ, the leading marine and offshore marketplace with an expected annual trade of $3bn in 2015, has cemented its position in Asia with the opening of a new office in Singapore. The office will be managed by ShipServ’s VP of Sales Sharon Gill and will be open for business from July 1st. “We are very excited to get much closer to one of the biggest and most vibrant shipping markets in the world and will look to increase our already substantial customer base in the region,” said Kim Skaarup, Chief Operating Officer of ShipServ. Singaporean owners, managers and shipyards currently using ShipServ include Keppel Shipyard, Thome Ship Management, EMAS AMC, MOL Shipmanagement and American Eagle Tankers. There are also 4000 Singaporean suppliers on the platform.

AET Sign Up for ShipServ TradeNet Services

ShipServ, a leading marine and offshore e-marketplace, has been contracted by tankship operators AET to provide  procurement software services for its fleet operations. AET will connect to ShipServ through its current ABS Enterprise system software suite. The global company’s procurement activities are based in Singapore and responsible for around 60 in-house managed vessels including VLCCs, Suezmax and Aframax tankers. “We are delighted to welcome such a major tanker owner-operator to the ShipServ community. To bring such a highly-respected company onto TradeNet really demonstrates that ShipServ is the preferred partner in this sector. ShipServ now has over 15 tanker owners and operators trading on ShipServ TradeNet.

BASS Prepares Agenda For Sea Japan

BASS will be exhibiting at the Sea Japan exhibition on April 10-12 in Tokyo, Japan. Jointly organized by CMP Japan Co., Ltd and The Seatrade Organization, Sea Japan 2002 will showcase a total of over 250 companies from 27 countries and regions. Software demonstrations will be shown throughout the exhibition period. Representatives from the company will also share customer case studies with visitors. BASS together with its Japanese sales agents; Aall & Co., Ltd and Frontier International Japan will be occupying booth number NOR-04 at the Norwegian Pavilion. Furthermore, BASS will participate in the New Technology Seminar that will be held alongside the exhibition.
