Aussie Pumps Wins Korean Navy Contract

RSC Bio Solutions, therefore, certifies its hydraulic fluids and cleaner products as 2013 VGP Compliant. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires that all vessels use an “Environmentally Acceptable Lubricant” (EAL) in oil to water interfaces unless technically infeasible.

After an extensive review and update, the former UKOOA document “Guidelines for the use of GPS in offshore surveying” has been jointly issued as a new document by theInternational Association of Oil & Gas Producers (OGP) and the International Marine Contractors Association (IMCA). Terresolve’s EnviroLogic 3068 Wins Blohm + Voss Approval

Terresolve Technologies announced the company’s readily biodegradable hydraulic fluid, EnviroLogic 3068, has passed the stringent requirements of the Blohm + Voss Industries’ Stabilizer Group and won approval from the German shipping manufacturer. After significant testing, both dry and with 5% water added, Blohm + Voss reported Terresolve’s non-toxic high-performance product has met the requirements for its Simplex-Compact S-type, Z-type and F-type stabilizers. These three stabilizer types cover the vast majority of marine applications performing at zero, slow and high speeds. “I’m very pleased with this result,” said Mark Miller, CEO of Terresolve Technologies. Under the “Simplex-Compact” trademark, Blohm + Voss has manufactured fin stabilizers for ships around the world since 1961.
