Feadship says it has launched the outstanding 60.35-metre motoryacht ROCK.IT. Created for an experienced owner who has chartered Feadships and appreciated the essence of the brand, the project has raised the bar of what can be achieved in an entirely bespoke project, say the yacht builders. Fast from the outside, cosy on the inside, ROCK.IT features the first-time application on a superyacht of an intuitive control and manoeuvring system developed for naval applications. It takes only the briefest of glances at ROCK.IT say Feadshiip to see the challenge faced by the yard, the designers and naval architects from Sinot Yacht Design and Feadship. They had to pull out all the stops to realise the owner’s vision of a striking, innovative and sporty look.

Holland's Feadship launches the 44.65-metre 'Blue Sky' in a ceremony combining the Chinese & Dutch maritime cultures. Feadship say that this is the first superyacht to be built by a Western shipyard for a client in mainland China. The owner sent his personal representative to accept delivery of the new megayacht that comes with her own helicopter deck and dedicated karaoke and Mah-jong rooms. The twin-screw Blue Sky powered by two MTU 12V2000M70 – 788 main engines, has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with an exterior styling developed by Feadship and Sinot Yacht Design.

Alloy Yachts’ 67.2m sailing yacht Vertigo was declared the evening’s big winner, with designers Philippe Briand and Christian Liaigre taking home three Neptunes for Exterior Design & Styling, Interior Layout and Best Recreational Space for Guest Use (for her novel midships lazarettes on the lower deck).
