Intergraph® a leading global provider of engineering software for the process, power and marine industries, was announced as one of the award winners at the Asian Manufacturing Awards 2013 gala dinner and awards ceremony held recently at Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore. PetroVietnam University (PVU) joined the Intergraph Education Grant Program. PVU is located in the offshore oil and gas hub of southern Vietnam, and was established to focus on the development of the country's oil and gas industry. The Vietnamese university recognized that it needs to equip its students with the necessary skills and knowledge so that they are ready to apply the tools that employers already use when they join the work force. Brazilian joint venture will use SmartMarine® Enterprise components for project with oil giant Petrobras. Tome Ferrostaal, a joint venture between Tome Engenharia and Ferrostaal in Brazil, has selected Intergraph® SmartMarine® Enterprise solutions, distributed by Sisgraph, as part of a project with Petrobras, one of the world's largest energy companies. Intergraph's enterprise engineering software will be used to construct the topsides of six identical floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessels, which will be built in Brazil. Sisgraph, based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, has been a distributor of Intergraph solutions in South America for more than 30 years. Intergraph and Sisgraph are part of Hexagon.

Intergraph® SmartPlant® Enterprise selected by operator, Inpex, to manage information for mega-project, Ichthys LNG. Inpex has implemented SmartPlant Enterprise solutions for the Ichthys LNG Project, including SmartPlant Enterprise for Owner Operators (SPO) as its information management system, SmartPlant 3D and SmartMarine® 3D (collectively known as Smart 3D), SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant P&ID and SmartPlant Electrical. The Ichthys LNG Project is a joint venture between Inpex and Total, Tokyo Gas and other participants. Gas from the Ichthys field, in the Browse Basin approximately 200 kilometers offshore Western Australia, will undergo preliminary processing offshore to remove water and extract condensate.

SmartPlant FreeView will open Intergraph SmartPlant 3D and SmartMarine® 3D projects published as a .VUE file. A user then may walk through the plant, ship or offshore model and select any object in the view to see its associated plant properties via the MDB2 package.

DORIS Engenharia Ltda. Chooses Intergraph® SmartMarine® Enterprise Solutions for Brazilian FPSO Projects. SmartMarine 3D is being used in front-end engineering design phase, also specified for detail design. DORIS Engenharia Ltda., the Brazilian subsidiary of France's DORIS Engineering and a specialist in the offshore oil and gas industry, has chosen Intergraph® SmartMarine® Enterprise solutions to design the topsides of eight floating, production, storage and offloading (FPSO) units for global energy leader Petrobras. The eight FPSOs will be used for pre-salt layer exploration.

Intergraph Corporation and Det Norske Veritas Software (DNVS) have signed a letter of intent to complete a software licensing and distribution agreement. The proposed five-year, multi-million dollar agreement includes collaboration by the two companies in the shipbuilding, offshore and plant design markets. Under terms of the letter of intent, DNVS will market and distribute Intergraph's next-generation shipbuilding design applications to the shipbuilding industry. Additionally, Intergraph will license its SmartPlant(R) platform technology to DNVS. Intergraph and DNVS will work together to combine their respective engineering and lifecycle data management applications.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., April 28, 2011 – GL Noble Denton, the global independent technical advisor to the oil and gas industry, will standardize on Intergraph SmartMarine Enterprise, including SmartMarine 3D, to replace its existing design solution for offshore and marine assets. This move will enable the company to increase the functionality and usability of its engineering designs, as well as to improve the data consistency between the schematics and the outfitting within its projects.

ABB Offshore Systems AS of Norway has signed a multi-year contract for development and implementation of global information management and project engineering software with the Process, Power & Offshore division of Intergraph Corporation

Intergraph Korea Ltd. has acquired all the shares of TechServer Corp., a Seoul-based software and services company specializing in automated drafting, data exchange and system integration in the shipbuilding, process, power and offshore industries. The acquisition will complement and enhance Intergraph’s SmartPlant and SmartMarine Enterprise engineering software solutions and expand Intergraph’s capability to serve its growing Asia-Pacific customer base. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. TechServer has expertise in software enhancement and integration services, especially for shipbuilding, which is a key enhancement to the Intergraph’s Asia-Pacific marine services center capabilities.

The world’s eighth largest oil company and a longtime Intergraph customer, Petrobras will completely adopt SmartPlant® 3D modeling and visualization, engineering and schematics, information and materials management, and project controls solutions to enable Petrobras to develop, operate and maintain its fixed offshore drilling platforms, semi-submersibles and FPSOs. Petrobras has already used Intergraph solutions for 10 FPSOs, four semisubmersible floating production platforms, one gas platform and one re-pumping platform. Sisgraph, Intergraph’s Brazil-based distribution partner, will continue to support Intergraph offshore engineering solutions for Petrobras.
