EMP Inks Deal to Supply Aquarius MAS

Eco Marine Power (EMP) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with a Singapore based shipping company to supply its Aquarius Management and Automation (MAS) + Solar solution. The solution will also include hardware and software that will allow ships to monitor fuel oil consumption in real time, automatically calculate NOx/SOx/CO2 emissions and interface with marine solar power systems. Initially one ship in the fleet will be installed with the Aquarius MAS + Solar solution and its performance jointly evaluated.

Los Angeles Port Promotes Clean Energy Projects

The Port of Los Angeles has entered a long-term agreement with Hecate Energy Harborside LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hecate Energy LLC (HECATE), to build, operate, and maintain photovoltaic (PV) solar power systems (PV Systems) that will generate electricity at multiple site locations within the Port. The PV Systems will feed clean energy to the utility grid operated by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP). "This solar project is a perfect example of our city departments doing their part to adopt my Sustainable City plan," said Mayor Eric Garcetti. MCSS, EMP Enter Sales and Support Agreement

Sales and technical support agreement signed for Singapore and Myanmar. Eco Marine Power (EMP) announced that it has entered into a sales and support agreement with MINs Control Systems Solution Pte. Ltd. (MCSS) to sell and support EMP's renewable energy solutions for shipping in Singapore and Myanmar. These solutions include marine solar power systems and the Aquarius Management & Automation System (MAS). The Aquarius MAS is an alarm handling, performance monitoring and data logging platform suitable for a wide range of ships which can also be integrated with renewable energy solutions.

New Naval Ship EnergySail Design Concept

Eco Marine Power Co. Ltd. (EMP) release further details of its modified version of the Aquarius MRE System for naval and coast guard ships. This modified system will use EMP’s patent pending EnergySail technology to form an array of devices able to harness renewable energy on these types of ships. Tideland Consortium Combines to Provide Wind Farm Service
