Crowley Names Anderson Vice President, SSQE

Crowley Maritime Corporation announced that Ketra Anderson has been named vice president of safety, security, quality and environmental stewardship (SSQE), replacing Paul Manzi, who has been named vice president of the company’s new Alaska Tankers group. Anderson, will be based in Seattle, and report to Carl Fox, senior vice president, corporate services. As vice president of SSQE, Anderson is responsible for the strategic leadership of the company's number one core value—safety. This includes individual safety, security, quality and environmental stewardship and sustainability.

Crowley Names Michel VP, Human Resources and Learning

Crowley Maritime Corp. has appointed Susan “Suz” Michel as vice president of human resources and learning, bringing all aspects of human capital management under her leadership – from talent acquisition to training and professional development to long-term employee retention. Michel joined Crowley in 2004 and most recently served as vice president of organizational development and change leadership. She will remain based in Jacksonville and continue to report to Carl Fox, senior vice president of corporate services.

Crowley Maritime Corporation has appointed Paul S. Manzi as the company’s new vice president of safety, security, quality and environmental stewardship (SSQE), effective July 1. Manzi, who will be based in Jacksonville and report to Carl Fox, senior vice president, corporate services, succeeds Charlie Nalen, who is retiring after 36 years of service to Crowley. Reporting to Manzi will be Daniel Smith and Ketra Anderson, who are both directors of SSQE based in Seattle. Manzi joined Crowley last year as director of health and safety…

FMC Honors Crowley for Green Initiatives

Crowley Maritime Corp. has been honored with the 2015 Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) Chairman’s Earth Day Award in recognition of the organization’s companywide environmental stewardship initiatives. The announcement was made during a Professional Environmental Management Association luncheon held in Seal Beach, Calif., earlier this week. FMC Chairman Mario Cordero will present a plaque commemorating the award to Crowley during a future recognition ceremony in Washington D.C.

Crowley Names Cosgrove VP, Marine Ops

Crowley Maritime announced that Cole Cosgrove has assumed the role of vice president of marine operations for Crowley's liner services groups. Cosgrove will continue to work out of the company's Jacksonville office while reporting to John Hourihan, senior vice president and general manager, Latin America services, and John Douglass, senior vice president and general manager, Puerto Rico and Caribbean services. Crowley Maritime Corp. announced that Suz Michel has been promoted to vice president of People Development and Learning. Michel will relocate from Seattle, Wash., to the company's headquarters in Jacksonville, Fla. Michel, who previously served as director of People Development and Learning, will report to Carl Fox, senior vice president, corporate services.
