Aker Kvaerner Gets Contract
Aker Kvaerner has signed a contract with MPF Corp Ltd. for delivery of drilling equipment to the Multi Purpose Floater (MPF) drillship. The drilling package is designed for world wide, harsh environment and ultra deepwater drilling operations. The contract is undertaken by the Aker Kvaerner subsidiary, Aker Kvaerner MH in Kristiansand. The delivery consists of a complete drilling equipment package; derrick and associated equipment, drillfloor and pipedeck equipment with control system, tensioning systems, mud handling equipment and subsea handling equipment.
Patriot Mechanical Handling Receives Order from Dalian
Patriot Mechanical Handling Inc. received an order worth $3.28 million from Dalian New Shipbuilding, which is based in Dalian, China, according to a China Knowledge report. The Dalian order calls for Patriot to deliver 4 CTUs (Conductor Tensioning Systems) on the new builds which are purchased by Noble drilling, Seatankers, and COSL respectively. Patriot also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Dalian New Shipbuilding to supply the latter with additional Subsea handling equipment over the next 12 months. Source: China Knowledge
Patriot Mechanical Handling Receives Order
Patriot Mechanical Handling Inc. announce that it has received an order from Dalian New Shipbuilding, based in Dalian, China. This is an expansion of an existing relationship with Dalian, which the company expects to continue to grow. The Dalian order calls for Patriot to deliver 4 CTU's (Conductor Tensioning Systems) on the new builds being purchased by Noble drilling, Seatankers, and COSL respectively. The order is valued at $3,286,000. Additional options are being considered by Dalian, which would increase the order amount accordingly. Patriot also obtained a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to supply Dalian with additional Subsea handling equipment over the next 12 months as needed.
