Brazil: Enauta Brings Another Atlanta Field Well Back Online after Pump Failure

Brazilian oil company Enauta has brought online another oil well at its Atlanta field in the Santos Basin, offshore Brazil, following a recent pumping system failure, and is now producing from two wells connected to the Petrojarl I FPSO.As previously reported, the company - formerly Queiroz Galvao - had earlier this month said that the field was producing via one well only due to a failure in the pumping system which had caused two wells to stop producing.The Atlanta field early production system has three wells…

Teekay's Petrojarl Banff FPSO completed its final voyage on May 8, 2021, and is now moored alongside the Modern American Recycling Services Europe A/S (MARS) quayside in Frederikshavn, Denmark in preparation for recycling.The decommissioned FPSO, which ceased production in the U.K. North Sea in 2020, had been moored at Kishorn Port on the northwest coast of Scotland since September 2020. Petrojarl Banff FPSO to Be Recycled in Denmark

M.A.R.S. Europe said it has been awarded a contract by Teekay Petrojarl Floating Production UK Ltd. for dismantling and recycling of the Petrojarl Banff floating production, storage and offloading unit (FPSO). The deal includes engineering, preparation, dismantling and green recycling of the long-serving floater.Teekay's Petrojarl Banff FPSO is expected to arrive at M.A.R.S. Europe’s EU-approved facility in the Port of Frederikshavn, Denmark prior to the end of Q1 2021.The decommissioned FPSO, which ceased production in the U.K.

Teekay, Alpha Petroleum FPSO Deal Terminated

Hundreds of Oil Workers Strike in Norway

Petrojarl I Drydocked for EPC Redeployment Upgrade

After four months of preliminary work alongside, FPSO Petrojarl I moved on April 16, 2015 into Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam’s 307m long x 47 m wide dry dock no 8 for work to the hull. In all, the vessel will spend a year at DSR before heading off to the South Atlantic. The Teekay managed FPSO arrived at Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam in January 2015. DSR was awarded an EPC contract by Teekay Petrojarl LLC for the upgrade, on completion of which the vessel will be redeployed at the Atlanta field in Brazil.

Teekay Petrojarl Contracts Damen for FPSO Upgrade

Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam (DSR), part of Damen Shiprepair & Conversion (DSC), has been awarded an EPC contract by Petrojarl I LLC for the upgrade of its FPSO Petrojarl I. The Petrojarl I is a Teekay Petrojarl managed FPSO built in 1986 which has been active in the North Sea. Its redeployment will be at the Atlanta field in Brazil. The Petrojarl I is contracted by Queiroz Galvão Exploração e Produção (QGEP) for deployment at the Atlanta post-salt oil field in the Santos Basin offshore Brazil to produce heavy crude oil in a water depth of 1,535m.

Petrojarl Knarr FPSO Earns AoC from PSA Norway

Teekay’s Petrojarl Knarr FPSO has received PSA Norway’s Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC), and has now arrived the Knarr field in the North Sea. The AoC is a statement from the PSA expressing the authorities’ confidence that petroleum activity can be performed by the facility within the regulatory framework. FPSO Petrojarl Knarr is to be used on the Knarr field, where BG Norge AS is the operator. The Knarr field is in the North Sea, around 50 kilometers north-east of Snorre. Petrojarl Knarr is classified by DNV GL and sails under the Bahamian flag.

DOF Contracted for Teekay FPSO Newbuild in North Sea

DOF Subsea Norways’s Skandi Skolten will assist with the installation of Teekay Petrojarl Production AS’s newbuild FPSO on the Knarr field development

DOF Subsea Norway, a specialist subsea solutions provider, has been awarded a contract by Teekay Petrojarl Production AS in Norway for a newbuild FPSO. The scope of work includes mooring pre-installation, tow-out and hook-up work for Teekay Petrojarl Production’s new FPSO, which will be installed on the BG-operated Knarr field in the Norwegian North Sea. DOF Subsea Norway will mobilise its Skandi Skolten vessel for this project, with six further vessels from its global fleet being utilized in support.

FPSO Arrives at Petrobas Offshore Brazil Site

Floating Production Storage & Offloading (FPSO) vessel 'Cidade de Itajaí' arrives at the Santos Basin. Petrobras announce the FPSO's arrival at its definitive location to be integrated to the Baúna and Piracaba field production system, which is in the Santos basin post-salt area. Chartered from OOG-TKP (the consortium formed by Odebrecht Óleo e Gás & Teekay Petrojarl), the vessel is being prepared for anchoring and is expected to start producing yet this month. The FPSO-type unit, which produces, processes, and stores oil, is capable of processing up to 80,000 barrels of light oil and of compressing 2 million cubic meters of natural gas per day. The platform will be interconnected to six production and five injector wells, of which four used for water and one for gas.

Teekay Invests $257m in Teekay Petrojarl

Teekay Corporation announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, TPO Investments AS (TPO), has acquired an additional 30.1 percent interest (22.6 million common shares) in Teekay Petrojarl ASA (Teekay Petrojarl) from Prosafe Production (Prosafe) at a price of NOK 59 per share. Teekay Petrojarl is a leading operator of Floating Production Storage and Offloading (the North Sea and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE: PETRO). The total purchase price of approximately $257 million will be settled in cash. As a result of this transaction, Teekay’s total ownership of Teekay Petrojarl has increased to approximately 94.8 percent from 64.7 percent.

Teekay Reports 3Q Results

Teekay Shipping Corporation reported net income of $79.8 million, or $1.07 per share, for the quarter ended September 30, 2006, compared to net income of $42.7 million, or $0.52 per share, for the quarter ended September 30, 2005. The results for the quarters ended September 30, 2006 and 2005 included a number of specific items that had the net effect of increasing net income by $2.0 million, or $0.03 per share, and $8.1 million, or $0.10 per share, respectively, as detailed in Appendix A to this release. Net voyage revenues(2) for the third quarter of 2006 were $344.3 million, compared to $317.8 million for the same period in 2005, and income from vessel operations increased to $105.0 million from $62.2 million.
