Coast Guard Foundation Announces 2014 Board

The Coast Guard Foundation, a nonprofit organization committed to the education and welfare of all Coast Guard members and their families, announced its 2014 board of trustees. Consisting of 117members, the Coast Guard Foundation Board of Trustees and Directors oversees management of the organization and helps to provide resources to advance the Foundation’s mission to support the service of men and women in the United States Coast Guard. Telephonics Announces Leadership Reorganization

Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Griffon Corporation (NYSE:GFF), said that Kevin McSweeney has been named COO of Telephonics, a new position reporting directly to Joseph J. Battaglia, President and Chief Executive Officer of Telephonics. This is part of a reorganization of Telephonics’ leadership team that has been undertaken to better facilitate planned growth and business development. Telephonics is a leading global designer, developer and manufacturer of high-technology, integrated information, communication and sensor system solutions for use in military and commercial markets.

Navy Selects Telephonics System

Telephonics Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Griffon Corporation announced a contract award from the U.S. Navy to manufacture, integrate and install its newest digital audio intercommunication system for forty-seven of the Navy's P-3C Orion aircraft. The Naval Air System Command selected Telephonics Corporation under its P-3 Critical Obsolescence Program as the aircraft intercommunication system integrator and supplier of its Secure Digital Intercommunication system. Telephonics will supply the digital intercom, design, integrate and manufacture the aircraft installation kits and manage the installation for the fleet upgrade under the contract. The contract is valued in excess of $20 million.
