Tentec, a designer, manufacturer and supplier of bolt tightening equipment is pleased to announce that due to popular demand, its renowned ranges of topside and subsea bolt tensioning equipment is now available for worldwide rental. Supported by Tentec’s established worldwide distributor network, this latest move enables organizations to hire and use tools just when they need them, so keeping project costs low. This in turn means that contractors can provide a more cost-effective service to their customers.

Ever mindful of the importance of the correct, efficient and safe use of its bolt tensioning and tightening tools, Tentec announced the availability of Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB) certified bolt training courses and qualifications for the oil and gas industry. With the acquisition of the well-respected Aberdeen-based training company Peak Performance, Tentec now offers established training units related to the use of bolt tightening tooling, assembly of components, joint verification and quality paperwork.

Thanks to ever-increasing sales and a newly extended product range, West Bromwich based engineering firm Tentec’s plans for expansion to their existing premises are now well underway. The company designs, manufactures and supplies bolt tightening equipment for a wide range of industries including oil and gas, wind energy, power generation and the general engineering market. “We have seen year-on-year growth in our business both from the UK and globally,” explains Mike Gethings, Managing Director at Tentec. Not only will the additional 20,000 square feet of space at the company’s headquarters in the West Midlands provide more space for the QA and IT Departments, but the current manufacturing facility will be also expanded.
