Canada Maritime Expands Eastern European Network

Canada Maritime has expanded its agency network in Eastern Europe to capitalize on an anticipated increase in trade between North America and the region over the next few years. Aseco Container Services has been appointed to represent Canada Maritime in three of the most dynamic markets in Eastern Europe, namely Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. years. Aseco is also currently the agent for Canada Maritime in Scandinavia with offices throughout the region. Forwarding in the Ukraine. Canada Maritime Wins Accolades Again

For the third year in a row, Canada Maritime has been named ā€˜Carrier of the Year - Ocean Freightā€™ by the Canadian International Freight Forwarders Association (CIFFA). Trade Laneā€™. same three Eastern Division top honors. The honors, announced at CIFFA's annual Forwarders' Choice Awards ceremony held recently in Montreal, are the result of a vote by CIFFA's members. Canada Maritimeā€™s Northern Service Passes 3M

Three million teus in 18 years. Maritime's Northern Service since it started operations in 1984. President, CP Ships with overall responsibility for Canada Maritime. "Just thinking about the variety of goods that will have been carried and the number of customers for which we have moved cargoes is quite remarkable. "Laid end-to-end, three million teus stretches nearly 11,250 miles, which is not far short of being half way round the world!" he added. Today, Canada Maritime's Northern Service offers three routings which all operate weekly through the Montreal Gateway. Thamesport, Antwerp and Le Havre; Route 2 links Montreal with Antwerp and Hamburg and Route 3 links Montreal with Liverpool.
