Seafarers’ House to Honor Carnival's Arnold W. Donald

Arnold W. Donald, president and CEO of Carnival Corporation & PLC, has been selected as the recipient of Seafarers’ House International Golden Compass Award for 2022. The award is given each year to those who have achieved distinction in the maritime world, those whose vocation or avocation has been the sea, or those who have ministered to or otherwise assisted seafarers.Donald grew up in the Ninth Ward in New Orleans with 27 foster brothers and sister. His parents’ generosity made a significant impact on his life.

Ardmore Shipping Appoints Curtis McWilliams as Chairman

The US-based chemical tanker company  Ardmore Shipping Corporation announced that Reginald L. Jones is stepping down as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company effective December 31, 2018. Curtis McWilliams has been appointed as Chairman of the Board effective January 1, 2019, said a stock exchange announcement from the company.Jones will remain as a director until the Company's annual general meeting in 2019, when he does not intend to stand for re-election. He is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Greenbriar Equity Group LLC, Ardmore's initial investor in 2010 which exited its position in Ardmore as part of the monetization of its Fund II in November 2017. McWilliams became a director of Ardmore in January 2016.

Madden Managing Director at Blackmer

Blackmer, a provider of pump and compressor technologies, has promoted Tom Madden to the position of Managing Director.Madden joined Blackmer more than 30 years ago as a member of its manufacturing management team. By 1997, he had progressed to the position of Chief Financial Officer. Madden acquired his MBA degree from The University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business.

Fanning Joins Tidewater

Tidewater Inc. announced that Quinn P. Fanning has joined Tidewater as Executive Vice President. Mr. Fanning will report to Chairman, President and CEO Dean Taylor and is expected to assume the duties of Chief Financial Officer of Tidewater upon the retirement of J. Keith Lousteau, which as previously announced, is anticipated on September 30, 2008. Fanning joins Tidewater following more than 20 years within the financial services industry. Most recently, Fanning was a Managing Director with Citigroup Global Markets Inc., which he joined in 1996. In his 12-year investment banking career, he primarily focused on the energy industry, particularly the oilfield services and midstream/pipeline sectors.
