Two MOL Subsidiaries' Names Changed

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd. today announced name changes for two of its major wholly owned subsidiaries: MM HOLDINGS (AMERICAS) INC. to MOL (AMERICAS) HOLDINGS, INC., effective July 7, 2016; and MITSUI O.S.K. BULK SHIPPING (ASIA OCEANIA) PTE. LTD. to MOL (ASIA OCEANIA) PTE. LTD., effective August 5, 2016. MOL (AMERICAS) HOLDINGS, INC. and MOL (ASIA OCEANIA) PTE. LTD. will strive to provide customers with high value-added services that demonstrate MOL’s comprehensive, group-wide strength in the Americas (North America, Central America and South America) and in Asia, the Middle East, and Oceania, respectively, while drawing upon over a century of accumulated experience and know-how. MOL Appoints Chief Country Representatives

Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. (MOL) will appoint dedicated chief country representatives to manage operations in Asia and Oceania effective on April 1, 2016. Currently, MOL assigns Chief Executive Representatives, who manage regions of the Americas, Europe and Africa, and Asia, the Middle East and Oceania to help the group provide services tailored to customer needs in each market. Craig Named President and CEO of MOL America

MOL Liner Ltd. has announced that Richard “Dick” Craig has been promoted to President and CEO of MOL (America) Inc. effective June 24, 2014. He has 34 years of experience in the container shipping industry including over 11 years with MOL. MOL Liner Ltd.’s President & Chief Executive Officer Toshiya Konishi said, “Dick was instrumental in bringing MOL (America) Inc. up to one of the most efficient and productive organizations within MOL Liner in the last 10-plus years. MOL Vessels Enrolled in Low Sulfur Fuel Program

MOL announced that it has voluntarily enrolled two of its vessels, the MOL Endowment and MOL Experience, in the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey Ocean Going Vessel Low Sulfur Fuel Program. MOL is one of the first ocean carriers to enroll in the Low Sulfur Fuel program, and is the first of the Japanese carriers to do so. The program provides incentives to operators of ocean vessels to utilize low-sulfur fuel in their main propulsion and auxiliary engines instead of bunker fuel known as Intermediate Fuel Oil 380. Switching to low-sulfur fuels reduces emissions of fine particles as well as carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and nitrous oxide and contributes to the improvement of the environment.

MOL Names New Trade Management EVP/COO

Tsuyoshi Yoshida has been appointed as the new executive vice president and CEO of Trade Management for MOL (America) Inc. Yoshida will have responsibility for pricing, security, business and network planning, as well as trade administration. He will also sit on MOL America's Board of Directors. A 25-year company veteran, Yoshida has extensive experience through positions held in MOL’s sales, marketing, pricing, operations, network planning and trade management organizations in Tokyo and Europe. Most recently, he was the General Manager of the Strategic Planning & Asset Group in Tokyo. Yoshida is a graduate of Yokohama National University with a baccalaureate degree in Business Management.
