Transas Simulators Chosen for Two Egyptian Training Centers

Transas Marine simulators have been chosen by the College of Maritime Transport and Technology and the Integrated Simulators Complex (ISC). These are the two institutions of Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT). The project will be executed by Transas Middle East. The simulators will enable trainees to acquire a wide range of navigational and engineering skills. At the College of Maritime Transport and Technology, each of four classrooms will be equipped with five navigational simulators, configured as mini bridges. The ISC uses Transas bridge simulators at classrooms with six part task bridges and twelve workspaces respectively.

Arcadia Shipmanagement Co Ltd Enters the New Era

Having initiated ECDIS program by fitting Transas dual ECDIS on the entire fleet back in early 2006 when ECDIS regulation was only a long-term plan, Arcadia Shipmanagement has teamed up again with Transas Hellas in order to conclude the program and shift its fleet to paperless navigation. All dual ECDIS installed on the vessels will be fully upgraded to exceed the latest carriage requirement by deploying official charts (Transas Admiralty Data Service), Transas precise navigation tools and chart handling system.

Transas Marine Wins ECDIS retrofit order for BSS Fleet

Transas Marine has been chosen by Telaccount Overseas Ltd. as a partner for ECDIS retrofit program for Bernard Schulte Shipmanagement (BSM). BSM is a global leader in quality Shipmanagement with 320 vessel under technical management and additional 300 under crewing management. According to agreement, Transas Marine will supply its Navi-Sailor ECDIS 4000 Multifunction Display system with numerous additional options, like recently launched Transas Bridge Link (firewall system) and Admiralty Information Overlay with T&P Notices. Transas Admiralty Data Service (TADS) which is an official SENC service will be supplied to the part of the fleet. Transas will provide crew training and service support.

Le Havre Utilizes Transas Simulator

Pilotage Maritimes du Havre, the famous French pilot station, has chosen a Transas bridge simulator to be used for training professional seafarers at their premises.
