New Offshore Transfer Device Displayed at Offshore Europe
Reflex Marine, a specialist in offshore personnel access by crane, will exhibit its FROG-XT transfer device range for the first time at the 41st SPE Offshore Europe Conference & Exhibition from the September 8-11 in Aberdeen. Having unveiled the prototype in at OE in 2013, Reflex Marine will now show the finished product at this yearsâ show. The FROG-XT offers operators a flexible solution to their personnel transfer needs with a choice of four-, six- and 10-person capacity devices.
Reflex Marine to Bring FROG-6 into Mexico
Reflex Marine has been granted approval by the Mexican Merchant Marines to sell its crane transfer device, the FROG-6, in Mexico. The certification is a result of Reflex Marine working with the Mexican governmentâs testing agency, the Centro de Normalizacion y Certificacion de Productos (CNCP) for over a year, as well as the national oil operator PEMEX with the help of its local partner GINEMEX. The FROG-6 was also exhibited at the Petroleum Exhibition and Conference of Mexico (PECOM) where it received a huge amount of attention from operators, crew and the media.
Total E&P is First to Use FROG-XT4
Total E&P is the first to use Reflex Marineâs newly developed FROG-XT4 on the Odudu field in Nigeria. The French operator purchased the crew transfer device primarily for carrying out inter-field transfers. They have already found the device to be an invaluable backup method for when adverse weather conditions result in helicopters being unable to fly. Reflex Marine Launches New Transfer Device
Reflex Marineâs brand new personnel transfer device, the FROG-XT4, was debuted at a recent launch event in Stavanger, Norway. The new four-person device was unveiled at Reflex Marineâs regional partner EnerMechâs fifth birthday party. The development of the FROG-XT range has been a direct response to customer demands and the product has been developed with over 20 years of experience, over 800 transfer devices operating globally, and with an estimated 1 million safe transfers performed using our capsules every year.
