Diana Shipping Sings TC Contract for m/v Calipso With Glencore

Diana Shipping, a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of dry bulk vessels, announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Glencore Agriculture B.V., Rotterdam, for one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Calipso. The gross charter rate is US$12,200 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of about 15 months to maximum 18 months. The charter is expected to commence on March 12, 2018. The m/v Calipso was chartered, as previously announced, to Transgrain Shipping B.V., Rotterdam, at a gross charter rate of US$9,000 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties. The “Calipso” is a 73,691 dwt Panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2005.

Diana Enters TC Contract with Unico Logistics

Diana Shipping, a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of dry bulk vessels, today announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Unico Logistics, Seoul, for one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Maera. The gross charter rate is US$11,900 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum nine months to maximum eleven months. The charter is expected to commence on September 19, 2017. The m/v Maera was previously chartered to Transgrain Shipping B.V., Rotterdam, at a gross charter rate of US$8,500 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of 68 days. The “Maera” is a 75,403 dwt Panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2013.

Diana Shipping Announces Time Charter Contracts for Philadelphia

Diana Shipping has announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has entered into a time charter contract with Koch Shipping Pte. Ltd., Singapore, for one of its Newcastlemax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Philadelphia. The gross charter rate is US$15,500 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum ten (10) months to about thirteen (13) months. The charter is expected to commence on March 14, 2017. The “Philadelphia” is a 206,040 dwt Newcastlemax dry bulk vessel built in 2012. Diana Shipping Contract for Thetis

Diana Shipping Inc. through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, has entered into a time charter contract with Transgrain Shipping B.V., Rotterdam, for one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Thetis. The gross charter rate is US$5,150 per day, minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum ten months to about thirteen months. The charter is expected to commence on June 16, 2016. The “Thetis” is a 73,583 dwt Panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2004. This employment is anticipated to generate approximately US$1.55 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter, says a press note from the global shipping company specializing in the ownership of dry bulk vessels.

Diana Shipping Announces Time Charter Contract for Protefs with Transgrain

Diana Shipping has  chartered the 73,630 dwt, 2004-built panamax, Protefs to Transgrain shipping for 12 – 16 months at a rate of $4,500 per day minus 5% commission. This employment is anticipated to generate approximately US$1.55 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter. Diana Shipping Inc.’s fleet currently consists of 43 dry bulk vessels (2 Newcastlemax, 14 Capesize, 3 Post-Panamax, 4 Kamsarmax and 20 Panamax). Diana Shipping also expects to take delivery of three Panamax dry bulk vessels by the end of March 2016, one new-building Newcastlemax dry bulk vessel during the third quarter of 2016, as well as one new-building Newcastlemax dry bulk vessel and one new-building Kamsarmax dry bulk vessel during the fourth quarter of 2016.

Diana Secures Time Charter with Transgrain

Diana Shipping Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of dry bulk vessels, today announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it entered into a time charter contract with Transgrain Shipping B.V., Rotterdam, for one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Nirefs, a 75,311 dwt Panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2001. The gross charter rate is $4,600 per day, minus a 5 percent commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum 11 months to about 14 months. The charter is expected to commence tomorrow.

Diana Shipping Fixes Panamax

Diana Shipping Inc., a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of dry bulk vessels, today announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it entered into a time charter contract with Transgrain Shipping B.V., Rotterdam, for one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Alcyon. The gross charter rate is US$7,600 per day minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum eight (8) months to maximum eleven (11) months. The charter commenced on August 22, 2015. The “Alcyon” is a 75,247 dwt Panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2001. This employment is anticipated to generate approximately US$1.82 million of gross revenue for the minimum scheduled period of the time charter.

Transgrain Charters Diana Panamax Bulker

Diana Shipping Inc. a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of dry bulk vessels, today announced that on July 8, 2015, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it entered into a time charter contract with Transgrain Shipping B.V., Rotterdam, for one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Clio. However, due to delays caused by unscheduled repairs to the vessel, the charter agreement was concluded earlier today. The gross charter rate is US$6,500 per day minus a 5% commission paid to third parties, for a period of minimum nine (9) months to maximum twelve (12) months. The charter is expected to commence by mid-August 2015. The “Clio” is a 73,691 dwt Panamax dry bulk vessel built in 2005.

Globus Maritime Q2 & Six Month Results

Globus Maritime Limited (AIM: GLBS) (LSE: GLBS), a company with subsidiaries that own and operate Supramax, Panamax, and Kamsarmax dry bulk vessels, reported its unaudited consolidated interim operating and financial results for the three months (Q2-10) and six months (H1-10) period ended June 30, 2010, and declares an interim cash dividend of GB 7.3 pence (US 11.29 cents) per share. All the following figures are in United States Dollars, except for the dividend which is in British Pence. Globus had five vessels at the end of June 2010 versus seven vessels at the end of June 2009. -- Fleet utilization of 98.3% (H1-09: 98.7%). -- Fleet utilization of 100% (Q2-09: 98.9%).

Globus Maritime Receives Drybulk Carrier Sky Globe

Globus Maritime Ltd (AIM: GLBS) (LSE: GLBS) announced that on May 19, 2010 it took delivery from an unaffiliated third party of the bulk carrier Sky Globe, the first of two sistership-vessels it had previously agreed to acquire for $32,825,000 each as announced on April 8, 2010. The M/V Sky Globe, built in 2009, is a geared and grab-fitted supramax bulk carrier with a carrying capacity of 56,855 dwt. The vessel was financed from the Company's existing bank facility and cash balances, and will fly the Marshall Islands flag. Following the delivery, the Sky Globe is employed on the spot market: for her first trip she was chartered by a first class European charterer at the gross rate of $30,000 per day.

Globus Maritime Charter for the Tiara Globe

Globus Maritime Limited (AIM: GLBS) (LSE: GLBS), a marine transportation company that owns and operates Handymax and Panamax dry bulk vessels, announced that a subsidiary of the company has entered into a new time charter agreement for the M/V Tiara Globe with Transgrain Shipping at a gross rate of $20,000 per day, for a minimum of 24 to a maximum of 26 months starting sometime in February 2010. The M/V Tiara Globe is a geared Panamax bulkcarrier built in 1998 with a carrying capacity of 72,929 dwt. George Karageorgiou, Chief Executive of Globus, commented: "We are pleased to announce this new employment agreement for our Panamax vessel, Tiara Globe, which enhances the stability and predictability of our revenues and cash flows.
