Montgomery McCracken Names Two Maritime Attorneys to Firm Partnership

Montgomery McCracken announced it has named attorneys Robert E. O’Connor and Davis Lee Wright to the firm’s partnership. O’Connor, located in the firm’s New York office, was previously an associate. Ross & Baruzzini Appoints Transportation Director

Allan Shapiro has joined Ross & Baruzzini as Vice President and Director of the Transportation Group. In this role, he is responsible for managing the firm’s aviation, seaport, rail transit, and surface transportation practice. Allan brings to Ross & Baruzzini over 35 years of experience in the transportation field.  He recently served as the Senior Transportation Manager for L-3 Communications and previously as the Officer-in-Charge and as the senior transportation management professional for several national architectural, engineering and program management firms. Security Council Formed With Assistance From Savi Technology

Every day, about 17,000 cargo containers enter U.S. ports, yet only one or two percent of them is routinely inspected. Since Sept. 11, government officials and global supply chain experts have been focusing on vulnerabilities and potential solutions to help ensure that weapons of mass destruction are not concealed in international cargo shipments.
