3D Printing Enables Quick Turbocharger Repair

The first 3D-printed nozzle ring for marine turbochargers has been developed using exotic super metal alloy, enables the reconstruction of worn out components for shorter repair times. According to the technology’s developer, Tru-Marine, the premature erosion of nozzle rings has been a commonly reported problem, and in such situations, spare part replacements are often unavailable and come with long lead times at high costs. Tru-Marine Houston Joined by Isaac Yohanan

Maritime turbocharger services provider Tru-Marine Group say that Mr. Isaac Yohanan has joined as a General Manager and Director of Tru-Marine Houston LLC. The company inform that Mr. Yohanan will be responsible for Tru-Marine's business and service operation in the US and the Americas focusing on its rapidly expanding presence in the marine and off-shore energy markets in North, South and Central America offering scheduled overhauls, reconditioning and repair services for marine turbochargers.

Tru-Marine Opens First US Service Station in Houston

Tru-Marine to expand global service coverage to the US offering complete turbocharger repairs services to vessels calling Houston ports and meeting growing demand for prompt and quality service. Turbocharger specialist Tru-Marine opens in Houston, in a move to align its global service coverage with its customers’ increasing expectations for integrated fleetwide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) solutions. Marine Components Remanufacturing Taking Off

In its continuing efforts to promote the benefits of remanufacturing, Caterpillar Inc.hosted representatives from several Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) member economies at its newest Cat Reman® facility in Singapore. Offshore: New Products at OTC

Sensotec's Model 424 & 425 Hammer Union pressure transmitter are rugged sensors designed specifically for use with 1502 and 2202, two-in. wing unions in the demanding environment of drilling installations. Typical high-pressure applications include mud logging, cementing, fracturing, acidizing, nitrogen pumping, and other upstream well servicing applications. The Model 425 is available in ranges from 0-5,000 to 15,000 psi. The Model 424 is available in ranges from 0-15,000 to 20,000 psi. Both the 425 and 424 deliver accuracy of 0.2% (BFSL). Standard output is 4-20 mA (2-wire) with a supply voltage of 9-28 VDC. Each unit is RFI / EMI protected. Operating temperature is from -45 to 200 degrees F. The "ESX" Power sections provide high torque at very low speed for mud motors.
