MOL America Announces Corporate Sales Changes

MOL (America) Inc. issued a release announcing several changes to its North American sales management, including the promotion of Richard Craig to the position of executive vice president, sales and operations. Additionally, Richard Jung, who currently assistant vice president of sales, central region, has been appointed to assume the duties of vice president of sales in replacing Dennis Sheehan, vice president of sales, who has decided to leave MOL (America) Inc. to pursue other opportunities.

Obama, Foxx Visit Major U.S. Port

U.S. President Barack Obama visited MOL’s TraPac Jacksonville terminal with U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx on July 25 as a part of his economic tour. President Obama and Secretary Foxx were met by TraPac General Manager Dennis Kelly, JAXPORT interim CEO Roy Schleicher and ILA representative Fred Wakefield, who escorted and briefed them during the visit. Following the visit, President Obama also delivered a speech in which he discussed the importance of port investment. “We’ve got to create more jobs today doing what you’re doing right here at JAXPORT,” the President said.

MOL Names New Trade Management EVP/COO

Tsuyoshi Yoshida has been appointed as the new executive vice president and CEO of Trade Management for MOL (America) Inc. Yoshida will have responsibility for pricing, security, business and network planning, as well as trade administration. He will also sit on MOL America's Board of Directors. A 25-year company veteran, Yoshida has extensive experience through positions held in MOL’s sales, marketing, pricing, operations, network planning and trade management organizations in Tokyo and Europe. Most recently, he was the General Manager of the Strategic Planning & Asset Group in Tokyo. Yoshida is a graduate of Yokohama National University with a baccalaureate degree in Business Management.
