TTS Signs Another PCTC Contract to Korea
TTS Group ASA has through its subsidiary TTS Marine AB in Gothenburg, Sweden entered into a new contract for delivery of cargo access equipment to two pure car/truck carriers (PCTC). The total order value for the two ship-sets is approx. NOK 40 million (approx. USD 4.9 million). The PCTCs are on order at Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries in South Korea. Hyundai RoRo Equipment Contracts for TTS
Norway's TTS Marine wins two contracts from Korea's Hyundai Heavy Industries to supply RoRo ramps and doors TTS Marine AS, Bergen has through its subsidiary Company TTS Marine AB in Gothenburg, Sweden entered into two contracts with shipbuilder Hyundai Heavy Industries for delivery of RoRo equipment being doors & ramps totaling a value of 49 MNOK. Deliveries will take place respectfully in 2012 & 2013. Bergen-headquartered TTS is a global enterprise that designs, develops and supplies equipment for the marine and oil and gas industries. TTS Marine AB received a contract to fabricate a new slewing stern ramp and weathertight stern door for the third Cape R ship owned by the U.S. Maritime Administration. The contract, signed with ship manager Keystone Shipping Services for the Cape Ray, follows the successful conversion of the sister ship Cape Rise and the Cape Race where the conversion work will start during the fall of this year at North Florida Shipyard with assistance from TTS Marine Inc. TTS Marine AB received a contract to fabricate a new slewing stern ramp and weathertight stern door for the third “Cape R” ship owned by the U.S. Maritime Administration. The contract, signed with ship manager Keystone Shipping Services for the Cape Ray, follows the successful conversion of the sister ships Cape Rise and Cape Race, where the conversion work will start during the fall of this year at North Florida Shipyard with assistance from TTS Marine Inc. The new slewing ramp and stern door are part of a conversion that includes replacing the existing straight stern ramp/door, hydraulic system and controls. The ramp, approximately 50m long, may be slewed both to port and starboard, or deployed straight astern, and is designed to allow the simultaneous loading of two M1A1 tanks.
