Waterjet Propelled Workboat Delivered for work Offshore in the Gulf of Guinea

A 12m workboat built by Strategic Marine has completed sea trials and was delivered to Tullow Ghana Limited.The vessel will be deployed to offshore deepwater projects in the Gulf of Guinea.To this end the vessel has been fitted with an advanced marine propulsion system, with waterjets designed to provide superior manoeuvrability.The workboat is designed to be launched and retrieved from a larger mothership with a single point lifting hook and will primarily perform line handling and crew transfer duties.

Sea Trucks Awarded Contract Offshore Ghana

Sea Trucks Group said it has secured a contract award from Tullow Ghana Limited for the provision of a Construction Support Vessel (CSV) providing Accommodation and Heavy Lift services to the turret moored FPSO Kwame Nkrumahe, located in the Jubilee Unit Area, 60 km offshore Ghana. The scope of work covers accommodation for up to 120 company pax. The scope also includes the heavy lift of two 50 Ton fairlead chain stopper foundation block structures, a 34 Ton mooring pull-in winch and other smaller lifts.

DeepOcean to Provide MPV to Tullow Ghana

DeepOcean Ghana Limited, a Ghanaian company with 51% Ghanaian owned share structure, has been awarded a contract to provide the services of a multipurpose construction vessel (MPV) to Tullow Ghana Limited. The scope of work for the contract is inspection, survey and subsea construction on the Tullow operated deepwater Jubilee and TEN Fields offshore Ghana. Wood Group Kenny Wins Ghana Contract for Subsea Engineering

Wood Group Kenny (WGK) has been awarded an engineering services contract to support Tullow Ghana Limited and its partners through the execution phase of the Tweneboa, Enyenra and Ntomme (TEN) project, offshore Ghana. WGK will provide subsea, umbilical, risers, flowlines (SURF) engineering services. The Tweneboa, Enyenra and Ntomme oil fields are situated in the Deepwater Tano area, offshore Ghana, approximately 30 kilometres from the existing Jubilee field. Expro Contract, Ghana’s First Deepwater Field

International oilfield service company Expro is establishing a new base in Ghana following the award of a multi-million dollar contract to deliver subsea, well test and data acquisition services for Tullow Ghana Limited (subsidiary of ‘Tullow Oil’) on the Jubilee Phase 1 Development field, which is the country’s first deepwater development. Ghana has been a strategic target for Expro since Tullow announced its intention to explore and later develop a major discovery. Expro is the current incumbent for Tullow’s exploration and testing work. On the back of this success, Expro has been awarded the Jubilee Phase 1 subsea and intervention work for 30 months.
