Austal USA has hired Adam Overstreet as vice president of legal affairs and chief compliance officer.Overstreet will manage a broad spectrum of legal issues, including employment and labor law matters, commercial transactions, and litigation. Bordelon Marine Announces Leadership Promotions

Lockport, La. based offshore support and subsea services provider Bordelon Marine said it has promoted Mike Belanger to chief operating officer and Chris Martin to general manager.Having served as Bordelon's general manager for 15 years, Belanger brings more than 40 years of industry experience to the COO position. First Citywide Ferry Departs for New York

The first of 13 new passenger ferries being built by Horizon Shipbuilding, Inc. for operator Citywide Ferry by Hornblower has departed the Alabama shipyard en route for its new home in New York. The ferry H200 departed to the University of Alabama fight song trumpet fanfare from Horizon on Tuesday, March 21 and will travel approximately 1,700 nautical miles to New York City. The second ferry (H201) is scheduled to depart shortly. Each of the 13 vessels takes about eight months to complete and are scheduled to launch this summer.

McDonald Promoted to EVP at Ingram Industries Inc.

Ingram Industries Inc. announced the promotion of Vice President and Deputy General Counsel Eleanor McDonald to Executive Vice President and General Counsel and Secretary, effective July 1. Orrin H. Ingram, President and Chief Executive Officer, commended Ms. She joined Ingram in 2006 as Assistant General Counsel, and before that was in private law practice in Nashville concentrating in mergers and acquisitions, commercial finance transactions and general corporate matters. Ms. McDonald received her juris doctor degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and earned her bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Mack Expands Bucket Range to Keep Up with Larger Orders

A family-owned and operated company founded in northern Minnesota in 1942, Mack began as a welding company to support the forestry and mining industries, but quickly reinvented itself as a crane attachment manufacturer specializing in material handling. Today, this focus is highlighted by Mack’s expanding range of clamshell buckets and grabs for the stevedoring industry, particularly well serviced from the company’s current base on Alabama’s Gulf Coast. Crowley Announces Management Changes

Crowley Maritime Corporation announced that Matt Jackson has been promoted to vice president of procurement, replacing Mike Lucero who will retire at the end of this year. In his new position, Jackson reports to Susan Rodgers, senior vice president, administration. Jackson is responsible for all materials management and purchasing for the corporation. He also oversees facilities development and travel. Reporting directly to Jackson are Cal Sweep, director of facilities development; John Azzo, who is transferring to director of materials management East Coast; Alun Jones, director of materials management West Coast and Vern Johnson, administrator of contracts.
