Ardmore Shipping Appoints Curtis McWilliams as Chairman

The US-based chemical tanker company  Ardmore Shipping Corporation announced that Reginald L. Jones is stepping down as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Company effective December 31, 2018. Curtis McWilliams has been appointed as Chairman of the Board effective January 1, 2019, said a stock exchange announcement from the company.Jones will remain as a director until the Company's annual general meeting in 2019, when he does not intend to stand for re-election. He is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Greenbriar Equity Group LLC, Ardmore's initial investor in 2010 which exited its position in Ardmore as part of the monetization of its Fund II in November 2017. McWilliams became a director of Ardmore in January 2016.

Malcolm Elected to General Dynamics Board

The board of directors of General Dynamics has elected Mark Malcolm to be a director of the corporation, effective August 5, 2015. He has been appointed to serve on the Audit Committee. Malcolm is the president and chief executive officer of Tower International, Inc. (NYSE: TOWR), a position he has held since August 2007. Tower International is one of the largest independent global suppliers of engineered automotive structural metal components and assemblies for major vehicle manufacturers. Previously Malcolm worked for Ford Motor Company for 28 years, with his final position as executive vice president and controller of Ford Credit, from 2004 to 2005.

Groups Seek US SEC Probe of Shell Arctic Drilling Risk Disclosures

An environmental group and a law clinic petitioned the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate whether Royal Dutch Shell has adequately disclosed to investors the risks of oil exploration in the harsh Arctic waters, the groups said on Tuesday. The U.S. Interior Department is mulling whether Shell can drill test wells for crude and gas off Alaska this summer. The company abandoned exploratory drilling efforts in 2012, an accident-plagued season in a region with little infrastructure for emergency response. Howell Laboratories Names Allen President, CEO

Howell Laboratories, Inc. announces the promotion of David G. Allen to President and Chief Executive Officer to succeed Paul A. Wescott, Howell’s President since 1977 who is retiring. Allen has been with Howell since 1982 in a variety of positions, most recently as Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
