OCTOPUS-Onboard Ordered for Stanislav Yudin

The Dutch offshore contractor Seaway Heavy Lifting has ordered Amarcon’s OCTOPUS-Onboard decision support technology for her monohull crane vessel Stanislav Yudin. This order is the second OCTOPUS-Onboard installation for Seaway Heavy Lifting. In 2011 the Oleg Strashnov was equipped with Amarcon’s motion monitoring & forecasting solution. Both vessels from SHL offer, amongst others, significant lifting capabilities and are able to provide a broad range of offshore heavy installations tasks.

Meteo Consult and Amarcon Deliver Routing Software to Maersk Line

The Dutch weather routing software supplier Meteo Consult and Amarcon, have received an order from Maersk Line to equip a minimum of 110 Maersk Line container vessels with SPOS Seakeeping. The Seakeeping plug-in is a feature within Meteo Consults weather routing software SPOS. With this plug-in the user can define vessel loading conditions and motion threshold values based on the input of Amarcon’s OCTOPUS-Onboard. Maersk Orders Routing Software for 110+ Vessels

The Dutch weather routing software supplier Meteo Consult and Amarcon, have received an order from Maersk Line to equip a minimum of 110 Maersk Line container vessels with SPOS Seakeeping. Amarcon Receives Orders For Two Octopus-Onboard Systems

Amarcon Receives Orders for Eleven OCTOPUS-Onboard Systems

Amarcon, a member of the ABB group, announced that it has received an order for in total eleven OCTOPUS-Onboard installations for Heavy Lift vessels from Cosco Heavy Transport and BigLift Shipping. The Cosco deal was closed after the heavy cargo transporter leased the portable OCTOPUS-Onboard system on several occasions. Cosco heavy transport operates a versatile fleet within the semi-submersible and project cargo transportation industry and provides her services across the globe.
