Gazprom Sets Up New Department
Gazprom set up a new department to be headed by Pavel Krylov. The department will be in charge of implementing the Gazprom corporate unified technical policy in search, creation and introduction of state-of-the-art solutions, equipment and materials acknowledged worldwide, including substitutes of their non-domestic counterparts, with a view to secure the Company’s technological independence. Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee will supervise the new department.
Gazprom Opens Museum of War in Brest Fortress
Led by Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee, a Company's delegation took part in the inauguration of a new museum within the Brest Hero-Fortress memorial complex. Boris Svetlov, Minister of Culture of the Republic of Belarus and Konstantin Sumar, Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee participated in the ceremony. The museum is called 'Museum of War – Territory of Peace'. Located in the premises of the south-eastern barrack, it occupies around one thousand square meters. Eight museum halls hold over two thousand showpieces dedicated to the Brest Fortress defenders. Gazprom sponsored the creation of the museum and the restoration of the south-eastern barrack.
Major Agreement Signed At 21st World Petroleum Congress
At the 21st World Petroleum Congress Rosneft, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Gazprom, NOVATEK, Gazprombank, Sovkomflot, United Shipbuilding Corporation signed a Joint Venture Agreement in relation to the implementation of vessel, drilling rig and marine equipment construction and design projects on the 16th of June. The document was signed in the presence of Vice-Premier Arkady Dvorkovich. Russian Arctic Oil Drillers Sign Oil Spill Safety Accord
Gazprom inform that Vitaly Markelov, Deputy Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Ravil Maganov, First Executive Vice President of LUKOIL have signed a Cooperation Agreement on oil spill prevention and response to offshore emergencies.
