MTU Introduce Mobile Rig Power Module

Tognum to showcase Mobile Rig Power Module powered by MTU series 1300 engine at Permian Basin International Oil Show (PBIOS) in Odessa, Texas. The Series 1300 offers the same legendary high standards of reliability and durability as its predecessor, the Series 60, with improved emissions technology and load performance. The Series 1300 offers a power range from 350-470 brake horsepower (bhp). The new Auxiliary Generator Package powered by the MTU 8V 1600 engine, designed to provide electrical power to drill rig operations. MTU’s new Backpack product, which is an optional, pre-engineered air filtration/cleaner and exhaust mounting system that provides original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) with greater ease of installation.

Cummins Announces High HP Dual Fuel Product

Oil And Gas Dual Fuel Products In Production Midyear 2013. Cummins Inc. announced today its plans to produce dual fuel engines from 800 hp to 3500 hp (597-2610 kW) for high-horsepower markets. The first in the product portfolio, QSK50 Tier 2 for oil and gas well servicing applications, will begin production in midyear 2013, with other QSK Series engines to follow, including engines capable of meeting upcoming EPA Tier 4 Final emissions regulations. Offshore: New Products at OTC

Sensotec's Model 424 & 425 Hammer Union pressure transmitter are rugged sensors designed specifically for use with 1502 and 2202, two-in. wing unions in the demanding environment of drilling installations. Typical high-pressure applications include mud logging, cementing, fracturing, acidizing, nitrogen pumping, and other upstream well servicing applications. The Model 425 is available in ranges from 0-5,000 to 15,000 psi. The Model 424 is available in ranges from 0-15,000 to 20,000 psi. Both the 425 and 424 deliver accuracy of 0.2% (BFSL). Standard output is 4-20 mA (2-wire) with a supply voltage of 9-28 VDC. Each unit is RFI / EMI protected. Operating temperature is from -45 to 200 degrees F. The "ESX" Power sections provide high torque at very low speed for mud motors.
