Brunvoll signed a contract with Westcon Yards for the delivery of a wide array of products to the new fishing vessel for owner M.V. Quantus Limited and Peter & J. SCHOTTEL's Azimuth Thrusters will propel two environmentally friendly vessels for the Norwegian ferry operator Norled.The first ferry to sail on liquid hydrogen was designed by LMG Marin and is currently under construction at Westcon Yards, Norway.Sigvald Breivik, technical director at Norled: âOur goal is to create a new icon among eco-friendly ferries. Eidesvikâs offshore supply vessel (OSV) Viking Princess reportedly can now operate with only three generators instead of four after a retrofit of an energy storage solution with The Switch DC-Hub at its heart, helping the 5,381 GWT ship to save around a ton of fuel every day.The solution entails replacing one of the main generators of Viking Princess by batteries connected to a DC-Hub. Rolls-Royce to Design and Equip New Fishing Vessel
Rolls-Royce said it has signed a contract to deliver ship design and an extensive range of ship equipment to a purse seiner / pelagic trawler to be built for the shipowning company Gunnar Langva AS based in Ålesund, Norway. The 75 meter long vessel is to be built by Westcon Yards in Norway, and the Rolls-Royce contract is signed with the yard. This will be Westconâs second order for Gunnar Langva. The previous vessel was delivered in 2013 and also designed by Rolls-Royce. Additionally, the new vessel will be the sixth vessel in a row to be named Gunnar Langva after the family-owned company.

Golden Energy Orders PARAT Boiler Plant
Golden Energy Offshore said it has decided to expand their fleet to meet the increasing demand of ORO vessels and NOFO class requirements and will within the end of March reclassify and update the ship Energy Swan according to the 2009 regulations. Energy Swan is a PSV/ROV of ST-216 L design, built at Brattvaag Shipyard in 2005. Part of and included in PARATâs scope of supply will be combined electric steam and hot water boiler with capacity each of 1,250kW, including all necessary equipment for an oil recovery mobilization.
