Wison Begins Arctic LNG 2 Project

Wison Offshore & Marine (WOM), the upstream oil and gas division of Chinese conglomerate Wison Group Holding, announced the fabrication of Arctic LNG 2 Project (ALNG2 Project) commenced in Zhoushan Yard.The module fabrication contract was awarded by Technip France S.A., a wholly-owned subsidiary of TechnipFMC.Novatek, client of ALNG2 project, is the largest independent natural gas producer in Russia. IHI Wins Order From Chinese Wison Group

IHI Corporation (IHI) received an order for two “IHI-SPB” LNG tanks to be installed in the Floating LNG Storage & Regasification Unit (FSRU) from Wison Group of Shanghai, China (Wison) who is known as the largest private EPC contractor in China. These two tanks will be fabricated at the IHI’s Aichi Works and delivered at Wison’s Nantong shipyard in the second half of 2015. Wison to Construct Modular Drilling Rig

Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd. (Wison), a subsidiary of the Wison Group, has announced  the award of a contract from China Oilfield Services Limited (COSL) to supply one modular drilling rig for use on a platform in the Mexican sector of the Gulf of Mexico operated by Petróleos Mexicanos (PEMEX). Guttulsrod to Speak at Canada LNG Export Forum

Shanghai-based Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd., a subsidiary of the Wison Group, announced that Vice President of LNG Sales, Tor-Ivar Guttulsrod, will speak at the Canada LNG Export Forum on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at 4:10 p.m. Guttulsrod will speak on the topic of The Emergence of Mid-Scale Barge-Based LNG Plants comparing the value of mid-scale floating LNG vessels to the large FLNG projects currently under development. Wison Announces Venezuela Contract

Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd., a subsidiary of the Wison Group, announced has the award of a contract to supply key modularized components for a major refinery project in Venezuela. The project, known as the Venezuela Puerto La Cruz Refinery Deep Conversion Project, was awarded to Wison Offshore & Marine by Hyundai‐Wison, a consortium of Hyundai Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. (HDEC), Hyundai Engineering Co., Ltd. (HEC) and Wison Engineering Ltd. (Wison Engineering), following a competitive bid. Procurement and Construction contractor for the project under an Prime Contract with the refinery owner, Petroleos De Venezuela, S.A. (PDVSA).

Wison’s Juan Guarin to Speak at Offshore Colombia Forum

Shanghai-based Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd., a subsidiary of the Wison Group, announced that Latin America Sales Manager, Juan Guarin, will present the EXMAR FLRSU project at the Offshore Colombia Forum on May 6. Wison and Black & Veatch to Jointly Pursue Offshore LNG Projects

Shanghai-based Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd., a subsidiary of the Wison Group, announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Black & Veatch to jointly pursue barge-based natural gas liquefaction facility projects on an exclusive basis. Wison Enters North American LNG Agreement

Shanghai-based Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd., a subsidiary of the Wison Group, announced  agreement with EDF Trading and Exmar NV to support their collective endeavors to pursue LNG export opportunities in North America using offshore, barge-mounted natural gas liquefaction facilities developed by Exmar, Wison and Black & Veatch. Under the agreement, Wison would be responsible for the turnkey engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) services for the mobile, self-contained units that would be capable of tying in to existing pipeline, tank and jetty infrastructure to enable LNG export. These plants will utilize topside liquefaction equipment and packages designed by Black & Veatch using its proven PRICO single mixed refrigerant technology.

Barge-mounted Natural Gas Liquefaction

EDF Trading with EXMAR intend to seek small-scale LNG export opportunities in North America using barge-mounted natural gas liquefaction. The mobile gas liquefaction plants are developed by EXMAR, Wison and Black&Veatch. The aim would be to bring mobile, self-contained liquefaction units to LNG import terminals in the US using existing pipeline, tank and jetty infrastructure to enable LNG export. EDF Trading and EXMAR have secured the support of the Wison Group for the provision of turn-key EPCIC services for the construction and commissioning of barge-mounted liquefaction plants. These plants will make use of Black&Veatch’s proven PRICO® single mixed refrigerant liquefaction technology but no commercial terms of the arrangements were disclosed.

Wison Offshore & Marine Announces Award for construction of World’s First Floating LNG Liquefaction Unit. Shanghai-based Wison Offshore & Marine Ltd., a subsidiary of the Wison Group, announced today the successful award of a contract by the Exmar group for engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) of the world’s first Floating LNG Liquefaction, Regasification and Storage Unit (FLRSU). The facility will be used by Exmar under a Build, Own, and Operate contract with Pacific Rubiales Energy Corporation, and located on the Caribbean coast offshore Colombia.
