Tidewater Names CFO, COO

U.S. offshore support vessel company Tidewater has announced the promotion of two key members of the company’s executive team, Sam R. Rubio and David E. Darling, to the positions of Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, respectively.Rubio has been promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, following his accomplishments serving as the Company’s Chief Accounting Officer and Controller since joining Tidewater following the combination with GulfMark Offshore, Inc. in 2018. Prior to joining Tidewater he served as GulfMark’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, after holding the position of Chief Accounting Officer for over 10 years.

Tidewater Elects Larry Rigdon as Chairman

Tidewater, which owns and operates the largest fleet of offshore support vessels in the industry, announced that Larry T. Rigdon has been elected Chairman of the Board effective October 28th.Rigdon replaces Dr. Thomas R. Bates, Jr., who has recently resigned from the board, said a press note.Rigdon has been a member of the Tidewater Board of Directors since August 2017. He has extensive prior experience as an executive at Tidewater. Rigdon served as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Tidewater for the five-month period ended March 2018 and had previously joined the Company in 1992 upon the merger with Zapata Gulf Marine Corporation.After successive roles of increasing responsibility, he left the company as Executive Vice President in 2002.

AWO Elects New Chair & Vice Chair

The members of the American Waterways Operators (AWO), the national trade association for the American tugboat, towboat and barge industry, elected Timothy J. Casey as Chairman and George Foster as Vice Chairman on Friday, April 3 during the AWO Spring Convention in Washington. Casey is President & CEO of K-Sea Transportation Corp., headquartered in East Brunswick, New Jersey, and served as vice chairman for the past year. OMNI Hires Mogel

OMNI Energy Service Corp. announced that Ronald D. Mogel has been named Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the Company and is expected to begin in the middle of January, 2008. Mogel joins OMNI from Horizon Offshore Inc., a Nasdaq listed company that was acquired by Cal Dive International, Inc. in December 2007 for $628 million. Mr. Mogel most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Horizon. He also acted as the company's Director and Vice President of International Accounting and Tax from 1999 to 2005. Previously, Mr. Mogel served as the Vice President of Finance at Newpark Shipbuilding- Pelican Island, Inc., and from 1995 to 1998 he occupied the role of CFO at John E. Chance & Associates.

Tidewater Looks to Enter New Market

A key to success in today’s tumultuous business environment is the ability to anticipate and adapt to the changing needs of its customers. It seems appropriate then, that a company founded on that principle continues to dominate its market and is currently poised for even greater expansion. Francois Named CEO of Delta Towing

Hercules Offshore, Inc. has appointed Larry Francois as Chief Executive Officer and President of Delta Towing effective August 20. Delta Towing, a subsidiary of Hercules Offshore, operates a fleet of 96 marine vessels, including 42 inland tugs, 18 offshore tugs and 36 crew boats, as well as 60 barges, including 30 deck barges, 17 shale barges, four spud barges and one offshore barge in the Gulf of Mexico. Seabulk Appoints New Head Of Offshore Division

Seabulk International, Inc. announced the appointment of Larry D. Francois as President of Seabulk Offshore, the Company's offshore marine services subsidiary, effective immediately. Mr. Francois, who most recently served as Area Manager of domestic offshore marine operations for Tidewater Inc., will also become a corporate Senior Vice President, reporting directly to Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Gerhard E. Kurz. In his new positions, Mr. Francois will have executive responsibility for the Company's worldwide offshore operations.
