In June, the SENER engineering and technology group participated in the 17th Morintekh – Praktik 2016 Scientific Conference, in the city of St. Petersburg, Russia. This key event for the shipbuilding sector was attended by over 300 professionals, who presented their latest technological developments and their experience in the implementation of different solutions.

SENER, which had previously participated in this event, gave two presentations on the FORAN System, one on the integration of FORAN with product lifecycle management tools (PLM), given by the General Manager of SENER marine, Rafael de Góngora, and a profitability study on implementing the System in a new shipyard or technical office, given by the Business development manager for Russia, Francisco Regueira.

SENER’s experience in the integration of processes, the solutions it offers the marine industry and FORAN’s ease of implementation and proven results received widespread praise and aroused considerable interest among those present.

SENER’s FORAN System celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015. After half a century of continuous reinvention, it is the longest-standing product of its kind on the market. Currently in use in 40 different countries, FORAN is based on cutting-edge innovative technology and is used in world-leading programs, some of them in Russia, where FORAN has been present for two decades.
