May 5, 2003

The Singapore Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) issued a Marine Circular reminding owners that Regulation IV/17 of SOLAS 74 requires ships to keep a record of all incidents connected with radiocommunication service that appear to be of importance to safety of life at sea. The records need not be in any particular format, but must be retrievable. Source: HK Law
