TTS Group Bags Hurtigruten Contract

Norway-based TTS Group ASA, a global provider of handling solutions and access systems and services for the marine and offshore industries, has been awarded a contract for sideloading systems for Norway-based expedition cruise operator Hurtigruten.TTS Group has also won a contract for ships equipment to another buyer. Total value of the orders is approximately NOK 38 mln (USD 4.5mln).Hurtigruten, the world’s largest and most sustainable expedition cruise line, is expected to install the advanced TTS sideloading systems on six different ships during 2019-2021.Building on 125 years of Norwegian pioneering heritage, Hurtigruten is today the world's largest expedition cruise company.Few days ago, TTS Group awarded a new contract with Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd in China.

Cosco Dalian Shipyard Orders TTS Cranes

Norway’s TTS Group has been awarded a NOK 102 million (USD11.7 million) contract with Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard Company in China for five sets of cargo cranes and hatch covers."The contract regards five shipsets of cargo cranes and hatch covers. The equipment is for use on multi-purpose vessels," said a press note.Deliveries are expected to take place by the end of 2019, it said. Last year,  TTS Groupsecured another contract with Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd in China for a shipset of cargo cranes and hatch covers.The TTS Group is an international corporation that provides first-rate handling solutions and access systems for the marine and offshore industries.

COSCO Delivers Second Stingray to Maersk

China’s COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard has delivered the subsea support vessel “Maersk Involver” to offshore marine contractor Maersk Supply Service (MSS).   The 9,785 dwt  vessel delivery follows the “Maersk Installer”, who was handed over in October this year. This is part of  a batch four Stingray-class vessels ordered by Maersk from Cosco.     The vessel boasts 400 ts AHC crane, dynamic positioning class 3 and measures 11 meters high, 27 meters wide and 137 meters long.   "The delivery documents were signed by COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd. and the buyer on 28 November 2017," said a statement from the company.   The delivery dates for the four vessels were postponed in mid-2017 due to the current market situation with new dates ranging from summer 2017 to spring 2018.

COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Delivers Flag Lama

COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co has delivered an bulk carrier, “FLAG LAMA”, to its European buyer, the company said in its press release.    The delivery documents were signed by and between COSCO Dalian and the buyer recently.     The bulk carrier measures 229 meters in LOA (length  of all), 32.26 meters in breadth and 20.05  meters in depth.   COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard is one of the core subsidiary enterprises of COSCO Shipyard Group. Its main business is ship and offshore repairing, conversion and new building.

Deck Carrier BigRoll Beaufort Delivered

The heavy marine transportation provider BigRoll Shipping has reached a milestone. The fourth and final MC Class vessel for BigRoll shipping was handed over by Cosco Dalian Shipyard Co. Ltd to new owner BigRoll Shipping in Leiden, the Netherlands. BigRoll Beaufort completes this unique series of four identical deck carriers. The Finnish Swedish 1A Ice Class MC-Class vessels are explicitly designed for the marine transportation of major modules and equipment for large energy projects both on and offshore and can deliver in the most remote and inaccessible areas on the planet.

Cosco Delivers Module Carrier to Bigroll

On 23 November 2016, Cosco Dalian Shipyard Co. Ltd handed over BigRoll Baffin, the third MC-Class Module Carrier for BigRoll Shipping, to her owners. The first two state-of-the-art MC-Class Module Carriers, BigRoll Barentsz and BigRoll Bering were handed over earlier this year. Both vessels have already executed several challenging voyages and did perform according to expectations and demonstrated excellent service speeds and vessel motions. Delivery of the last vessel of the series, BigRoll Beaufort, is expected in March 2017. BigRoll Beaufort will complete this unique series of four identical deck carriers, offering reliability and flexibility to the market.

COSCO Delivers PSV and Two Jack-up Rigs

Cosco (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of its 51 percent owned Cosco Shipyard Group Co., Ltd., has delivered two jackups to the Foresight Group of companies through United Arab Emirates-based drilling and rig management services firm Hallworthy International FZC. Cosco Dalian signed the delivery documents for the two jackups,"N527" and "N581" -- possibly Vivekanand 2 (350' ILC) and Vivekanand 3 (350' ILC) -- with the buyer recently. The  jack-up  rigs,  both  measuring  74.09  meters  in  LOA  (length  of  all),  62.80  meters  in width,  are  designed  to  operate  at  water  depths  of  350  feet  and  is  capable  of  performing drilling operations at depths of up to 30,000 feet.

BigRoll Orders Two MC Class Vessels

BigRoll Shipping announced that COSCO Dalian Shipyard Co. Ltd has been contracted to build two more MC Class Module Carriers, bringing the total number of vessels under construction to four. The first two vessels BigRoll Barentsz and BigRoll Bering were ordered in 2013 and are scheduled for delivery late 2015 and early 2016. The two additional vessels will be named BigRoll Baffin and BigRoll Beaufort and are due for delivery mid 2016 and early 2017, respectively. All BigRoll vessels are named in honour of famous Arctic explorers, which was inspired by the ships’ suitability for shipping to Arctic areas.

COSCO Builds 3rd BigRoll MC Class

BigRoll Shipping announces that it has contracted COSCO Dalian Shipyard Co., LTD to build a third MC Class Module Carrier. She will be named BigRoll Baffin and is scheduled for delivery in June 2016. Bigroll Shipping last year in September ordered two vessels of the same type with options two order two more. The BigRoll Barentsz is the first of two MC Class Module Carriers ordered last year for the transportation of ultra large and heavy modular cargoes. The vessel is scheduled for delivery mid August 2015. Its sister vessel BigRoll Bering will follow in October 2015. The vessel’s overall length will 173 m with a beam of 42 m, giving the vessels a deck space of 42 by 125 m. According to Bigroll, the deck is completely free of manholes, air heads etc.

COSCO Corpn Wins $ 230 mi Contracts

1. COSCO (Qidong) Offshore Co., Ltd Contract from a Singapore entity to build one (1) Floating Accommodation Unit (FAU) scheduled for delivery in 1Q2017. The buyer has also secured options for five (5) additional FAUs. 2. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd The contract under the first option cited in the announcement dated 12 September 2013 to build one (1) 21,000DWT Module Carrier for a European company has been rendered effective. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2Q2016. Save for their respective shareholdings in the Company, none of the directors or controlling shareholders of the Company has any interest, direct or indirect in the contracts.

COSCO Corpn. Secures Contracts of $300 mi

Contracts from a European company to build one (1) DP3 accommodation barge scheduled for delivery in 3Q2016 and an Asian company for two (2) 64,000DWT bulk carriers scheduled for delivery in 1H2016. Additionally, the contract under the second option cited in the announcement dated 12 September 2013 to build one (1) 64,000DWT dry bulk carrier for a European company has been rendered effective. The bulk carrier is scheduled for delivery in 2Q 2017. Contracts from an Asian company to build two (2) 82,000DWT bulk carriers scheduled for delivery in 4Q2015 and 1Q2016 respectively; and a European company to build two (2) 82,000DWT bulk carriers scheduled for delivery in 2Q2016 and 3Q2016 respectively.

China Shipyards Win US$100-Million OSV Contracts

1. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd., has secured a contract from an Asian company to build four Emergency Response / Rescue / Field Support Vessels (ERRVs), scheduled for delivery in the first half of 2016. 2. Two shipbuilding contracts signed by COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd, with a European ship owner for the construction of two PX121 Platform Supply Vessels (PSVs) have been declared effective. The two vessels are expected to be delivered in the first and second quarters of 2016 respectively. Additionally, the ship owner has an option to render effective, within six months, two contracts for the construction of similar PX121 PSVs. Founded in June 2001, COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd, is a subsidiary of China Ocean Shipping Company (COSCO).

China Shipyards Secure US$380-Million Contracts for COSCO

1. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co. Ltd has secured contracts from a Bermuda company for two LeTourneau Super 116E jackup drilling rigs, scheduled for delivery in 1H2016 and 2H2016 respectively. The same buyer has also secured options for two additional jackup drilling rigs. 2. COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard Co. Ltd has been contracted to build a dry bulk carrier of 64,000dwt for a European buyer, with delivery scheduled in the second half of 2014. COSCO China Shipbuilders Win Slew of Contracts

COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co. Ltd. A Netherlands based company has placed orders to build two platform supply vessels (PSVs) scheduled for delivery in 3Q 2015. The buyer has also secured options for two additional PSVs. Contracts from a Singapore based company have also been pladed for construction of two PSVs scheduled for delivery in 1H 2015. The buyer has also secured options for six  additional PSVs. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co. Has received contracts from a PRC based agency to build two salvage lifting vessels scheduled for delivery in 1H 2015. Additionally, a Europe based company has ordered two module carriers of 21,000dwt each scheduled for delivery in 1H 2015 and 2H 2015 respectively. The buyer has also secured options for two additional module carriers.

China COSCO Shipyards Deliver Two More Bulk Carriers

COSCO (Guangdong) and COSCO (Dalian) Shipyards have each recently delivered bulk carriers to European owners. COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard Co., Ltd has delivered a bulk carrier of 35000 dwt, “CHIOS LUCK”, to its European buyer. The bulk carrier measures 179.99 meters in LOA, 30 meters in breadth and 14.7 meters in depth. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd has delivered a bulk carrier of 92500 dwt, “OCEAN TOPAZ”, to its European buyer. The bulk carrier measures 229.17 meters in LOA,  38.01 meters in breadth and 20.7 meters in depth. COSCO informs that both the delivery documents were signed by and between the COSCO shipyards and the respective buyers in May 2013.

China Shipyards Deliver Two More Bulkers

COSCO Corporation (Singapore) say a bulk carrier has been delivered from each of its two subsidiary shipyards in China. The two deliveries are as follows: 1. COSCO (Zhoushan) Shipyard Co., Ltd has delivered a bulk carrier of 57,000 dwt, “OCEAN LOVE”, to its European buyer. This ship measures 189.99 meters in LOA and 32.26 meters in breadth. 2. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd has delivered a bulk carrier of 82,000 dwt, “XIN TANG SHAN HAI 1”, to its Chinese buyer. This new  bulk carrier measures 229 meters in LOA  and 32.26 meters in breadth. The company stattes that the delivery documents were signed by and between COSCO shipyards and the respective buyers recently.

COSCO Deliver Two China-built Bulk Carriers

COSCO Corporation (Singapore) subsidiary shipyards in China deliver bulk carriers to two European buyers. COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd has delivered a bulk carrier of 92,500 dwt, Sicilian Express, a post-panamax bulk carrier and the last in a series of four bulk carriers being built for Vroon at this shipyard. The ship measures 229.17 meters in LOA, 38.01 meters in breadth and 20.7 meters in depth. Secondly COSCO (Guangdong) Shipyard has delivered a bulk carrier of 57,000 dwt, Chios Sunrise, to its European buyer.

COSCO Deliver FPSO Conversion

COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., Ltd. delivera a converted FPSO, “Petrobras 63”, to a European ship-owner. The delivery documents were recently signed by and between COSCO Dalian and the ship-owner. The FPSO (Floating Production Storage & Offloading) vessel, classified by ABS, is 28.5 meters in depth, 57.3 meters in breadth, and 334.563 meters in LOA. The conversion from VLCC to FPSO involved steel fabrication, module installation, integration and installation of cables, pipes and equipment.

COSCO (Qidong) Offshore wins a US$ 20-million contract for a jack-up barge, & other COSCO subsidiaries deliver bulk carriers. This jack-up barge for Australian owners will be built to GustoMSC SEA-1250 design and have capacity of 300 tons deck crane and operation in water depth up to 30 meters. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in eleven months time.
