The Ferguson Group Singapore, global provider of offshore DNV 2.7-1/EN12079 containers, tanks, baskets, reefers, workspace modules and accommodation solutions, is investing further in its Southeast Asia fleet.

Headquartered in Loyang Offshore Supply Base, Ferguson Group Singapore continues its expansion in the region, with an increase in its Malaysian based fleet.

The Malaysian fleet is based in two yards, Labuan Supply Base (ASB) and West Malaysia’s Kemaman Supply Base (KSB). Along with bases in Singapore and partners in Thailand, Brunei, Indonesia and Vietnam, Ferguson Group Singapore said it is positioned to meet the needs of the Southeast Asia energy sector.

Simon de Koning, Business Unit Manager, Ferguson Group Singapore said, “We can provide a quick response to our SE Asia clients, with our wide variety of units, exactly where they are needed. Being in the heart of the offshore industry, we understand the issues our clients face and can work to alleviate them.”

According to the company, the demand for Ferguson Group Singapore’s fleet of DNV 2.7-1/EN 12079 cargo carrying units, has led to the decision to base more stock in Malaysia including Zone 2 workspace modules and refrigerated modules from IceBlue Refrigeration Offshore, enabling units to be hired at very short notice.

“We are moving workspace modules as well as reefer units to our Malaysian bases,” de Koning added. “Coupled with the wide range of CCUs available from all our partners Ferguson Group Singapore will be ideally located to offer a faster response time for deploying assets to clients.”
