ISS Appoints VP Operations – Marine Outsourcing

Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) has made a key addition to its Marine Outsourcing team with the appointment of Tony Carter to VP Operations – Marine Outsourcing.

Tasked with optimising the company’s service delivery across the globe, Tony will report to Trond Baade, ISS Senior VP – Marine Outsourcing.  Tony has over 30 years’ experience in international port agency and indepth expertise in developing and managing global businesses in local, regional, trans-regional and worldwide environments.

The new appointment demonstrates ISS’ commitment to continually enhance its global service.  In his new role, Tony will ensure effective operations between ISS service centres and stakeholders, as well implementing, developing and improving processes to meet customers’ requirements worldwide. ISS service centres are based in Dubai, Singapore, Houston and Immingham in the UK.

Commenting on the appointment, Capt Trond Baade, Senior VP – Marine Outsourcing, said:  “Tony will work closely with our service centres to ensure continual improvements for the benefit of our customers, principals, partners and stakeholders around the globe.  His extensive experience in some of the most complex international environments demonstrates our tenacity to achieve optimal service delivery.”
