Wärtsilä Finland Oy Appoint New President

Stefan Damlin has been appointed President, Wärtsilä Finland Oy

Stefan Damlin (44) has been appointed President of Wärtsilä Finland Oy as of 1 July 2012. Damlin, who since 1991 has experience of a variety of leading positions within finance and business development in Wärtsilä, will continue his responsibility for business development within Wärtsilä Industrial Operations (WIO) and he is a member of the WIO management team. WIO consists of production and product development. Damlin will report to Group Vice President, Wärtsilä Industrial Operations, Lars Hellberg.

Damlin will succeed Juha Kytölä (47), who as of the same date will resume responsibility for the Environmental business within Wärtsilä Ship Power, as the current Director Joe Oatley leaves his position to pursue career opportunities outside Wärtsilä. Kytölä will be based in Poole, England, and he reports to Jaakko Eskola, Group Vice President, Wärtsilä Ship Power.
