Accommodations specialist, HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company, installed fourteen A60 – ABS/USCG approved buildings on an ABS-classed offshore construction vessel and provided fifteen buildings to a Lloyd’s-classed multipurpose platform supply vessel. Both vessels are located in Mexico, announced HB Rentals Senior Vice President of Global Operations Glenn Aguilar.

The temporary building packages include the provision of sleeper units, diners, laundry rooms and locker facilities. The installation of accessories including stairs and platforms were necessary as the buildings were stacked three levels high.

“The significance of the 14-building contract comes from the difficulty regarding required clearance for the vessel’s crane,” said Aguilar. “Because space on one of the vessels was extremely limited, the quarters were installed in three different locations. Two of the buildings supplied were HB Rentals’ newly designed five-man sleeper units.”
