R.STAHL Launches New Lighting Series

R.STAHL TRANBERG has announced the launch of the TRANBERG BlueLine Lighting Series – a portfolio of high quality, cost-effective and next generation lighting for the maritime sector. The announcement was made at Nor-Shipping 2019, taking place in Oslo from June 4 to 7, 2019.The BlueLine Series, which consists of navigation lights, searchlights, floodlights and deck lights for all kinds of vessels, has been designed to provide marine operators with a world-class quality standard in marine lighting.

W&O Inks Distribution Deal with Tranberg

W&O, a global supplier to the marine and upstream oil and gas markets for pipe, valves and fittings, valve automation, and engineered solutions, announced a new OEM partner, Tranberg. A member of R. STAHL Technology Group, Tranberg offers offshore, marine and helideck lighting control solutions. W&O will assume exclusive distribution responsibilities in North America for Tranberg’s nonhazardous lighting to include helideck and navigation. In addition, W&O will also offer Tranberg’s Circle and H systems and other marine lighting systems to the maritime industry. “W&O has been looking to offer marine lighting for some time,” said Michael Hume, President & CEO of W&O.

Tideland Consortium Combines to Provide Wind Farm Service

Tideland Signal, Dabbrook Services and Tranberg Systems of Denmark have joined forces to present a comprehensive service for specifying, supply and installation of navigation warning systems and all other low-voltage equipment on offshore wind farms on stand 321 at Global Offshore Wind, ExCel London from 13 to 14 June. Tideland Signal is a leading global supplier of navigational aids and solar power systems to the world's ports, harbours and offshore industries, while its sister company, Dabbrook Services Ltd.

R. STAHL acquires Tranberg AS

R. STAHL AG and the shareholders of Tranberg AS of Stavanger, Norway have entered into a contract of sale transferring title to the enterprise to R. STAHL Technologies with effect of 1 October 2006. The purchase price remains undisclosed. The Norwegian company develops, manufactures, and distributes lighting and signal systems used in ship building and on helicopter landing decks in addition to producing explosion protected heating and control systems for industrial applications. Tranberg employs 60 persons at its Stavanger site and realised some EUR 1m EBT on 2005 sales of EUR 10m. Thanks to the resulting synergy potential, management expects additional global sales growth in the medium term.
