Raytheon and Nauticast Combine Efforts

March 25, 2003

Raytheon has widened their product offering and is now also offering a SOLAS Class A ship borne AIS Transponder through their worldwide Reseller Network. The new RM 808 AIS is Wheelmark Type Approved by BSH, Germany, and is exclusively produced by Nauticast Schiffsnavigationssysteme AG, Austria. Nauticast supplies the RM 808 AIS based on their own X-Pack DS design, together with extended warranty and high-end accessories for ease of installation. "It is the unique technology and design of the system which convinced us to choose this model. It is the perfect choice for new builds as well as suiting our strategic focus on the retrofit market. Apart from these technological considerations, the superior quality and availability also count." says Raytheon Marine. "This is just the beginning of Nauticast’s breakthrough into the AIS market", says Peter Martin, CEO Nauticast.
