Raytheon Anschütz, a German-based navigation system supplier, delivers its 15,000th Standard 22 Gyro Compass in June 2014. Onboard the superyacht Esmeralda the jubilee compass will replace an old Anschütz Standard 4 Gyro Compass which has been in operation for more than 30 years. The new Synapsis Workstations are part of the Raytheon Anschütz exhibit at Norshipping 2011. The new generation of Synapsis (Chart-) Radar, Synapsis ECDIS and Synapsis Conning are an integral part of the recently launched Synapsis Bridge Control series. Raytheon Anschütz wins IBS for Namibian Research Vessel
The German navigation system supplier Raytheon Anschütz was recently awarded a contract for the delivery of an integrated bridge and navigation system for a Fisheries Research Vessel, newbuilding 1378 at STX Finland. STX Finland has again selected Raytheon Anschütz to deliver the integrated bridge and navigation system, as well as the Dynamic Positioning System (DP) and a radio station according to GMDSS A3 for this advanced Fisheries Research Vessel. The 62 meter long vessel is being built at STX Finland Rauma shipyard and will be owned by the Ministry of Fisheries and Marine Resources of the Republic of Namibia. Raytheon Anschütz, Wärtsilä Supply Agreement
The German navigation system supplier Raytheon Anschütz has signed a new agreement with Wärtsilä Corporation, Finland. According to the new agreement, Raytheon Anschütz will supply their Integrated Bridge Systems for Wärtsilä’s total ship system solutions. “We see an increasing demand for larger ship solutions including machinery, automation and navigation", said Andreas Lentfer, Business Development Director at Raytheon Anschütz. Within the agreement Raytheon Anschütz will supply complete Integrated Bridge Systems. Wärtsilä intends to make its integrated packages, combining navigation and automation systems, available for all types of vessels. Wärtsilä services will be backed-up by the global Raytheon Anschütz service network and the central service coordination in Kiel.
