As a result of the ongoing shipbuilding activities in the Far East region, Rockwool Marine & Offshore has established a sales office in Shanghai center.
The Rockwool Group, a stone wool insulation producer, has been active in the region for many years, mainly within the marine and building segment. So far the marine activities have been coordinated from the Hong Kong based sales office. The new Shanghai sales office gives the company the opportunity to operate closer to its customer base.
The Shanghai office also houses the Group’s activities with Lapinus fibres. The marine and offshore activities are lead by Sales Manager Catharina Heliang, who holds both a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Automation and a Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management and Business. Heliang has 10 years' experience in sales and procurement, six of which were spent in the marine segment.
