Rolls The Top Employers Institute honored Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG with its `Top-Employer, Germany 2014´ award. Kerstin Geßler, team leader, HR Recruiting at Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, accepted the award

Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG has been confirmed as one of Germany´s most attractive employers. The company has received awards for its exemplary HR management policies and for the outstanding benefits it offers employees.

Over recent years, the prestigious Top Employers Institute awarded RRPS predecessor Tognum AG its ´Top Employer, Engineering´ seal of excellence four times and conferred the `Top Employer, Germany´ title three times. The Top Employers Institute recognizes leading employers worldwide who offer outstanding working conditions. This year, in addition to Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG, the `Top Employer, Engineering 2014´ award will go to 25 other companies in Germany. Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG is also one of 125 companies to qualify for the title `Top Employer, Germany 2014´.

The research institute appraised the quality of HR management at each company on the basis of a questionnaire covering five categories including social services, supplementary services and work-life balance, training and development, career opportunities and corporate culture management. For social benefits such as retirement schemes and performance-related annual bonus, Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG ranked within the top quarter.

"Once again, this award marks us out as a company which leads the way with ideal conditions for our employees," said Jörg Schwitalla, member of the Executive Board responsible for HR, Integrity and Operations. In the area of supplementary services, the results achieved by Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG also set high standards for other companies in Germany to follow. On issues such as stress management, ergonomics and health management, the company´s performance was extremely good while the career opportunities it offers were significantly above the average in Germany. Results such as these clearly show why Rolls-Royce Power Systems AG deserves its place in the select circle of Top Employers.
