Imtech Marine Opens Office in New Delhi

Imtech Marine opened a new office in New Delhi, giving it a foothold in India’s fast growing maritime industry and will further increase its reach in South-East Asia. Imtech Marine India Pvt Ltd. is an approved supplier for the Indian Navy regarding HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Airconditioning) and Fire Fighting systems, but it presently also works on various projects of the Indian Navy for the supply of HVAC/NBC equipment, Fire Fighting systems and Chilled Water Plants. All these projects are in the bidding stage. "We see the Indian maritime industry as a growing market with a lot of potential. Right now the starting focus is on offering HVAC capabilities and solutions to the Indian navy.

Imtech Marine Group Service Office in Florida

Imtech Schiffbau-/Dockbau-technik, headquartered in Hamburg/Germany, will open a new Service Branch Office in May 2010. The branch will offer the full range of mechanical Imtech services, e.g. HVAC conversions, maintenance, and spare parts. Refurbishments for chillers and compressors will be done in Imtech’s own workshop. The office will be located in the Ft. Queen Elizabeth Class Carriers Use Imtech

Imtech has been awarded a design & build contract for the high-tech climate technology aboard the new Queen Elizabeth Class aircraft carriers being built for the British Royal Navy. The order represents a value of more than about $187m. The ships, which are 918.6 ft long, are the largest naval ships ever to be built in the UK. The two aircraft carriers are about 65,000 tons each, a size between the American Nimitz class and the French Charles de Gaulle class. The high-tech design and build order is a direct order from Babcock Marine, a member of the Aircraft Carrier Alliance.

Imtech Onboard the Rainbow Warrior III

Imtech Marine Group (global technical services provider) has been commissioned to supply the entire “green” technical infrastructure on board Greenpeace’s new flagship Rainbow Warrior III. Together with a large number of other initiatives, this project serves as proof of the present development in “green” ships. The Rainbow Warrior III (almost 190-ft in length) is the successor of the present Greenpeace flagship Rainbow Warrior II. Greenpeace wants its new flagship to be the ultimate example of sustainability.

Seacoast is Now Radio Holland USA

Radio Holland Group announced that as of Jan. 15 2009, the business of Seacoast Electronics and Radio Holland USA was fully merged into a single company. Seacoast became part of the Radio Holland Group organization in 2007. Since then, the cooperation between Radio Holland USA and Seacoast has become intensive, synergies have been identified and applied, and now the time has come to fully team up and become one organization. Seacoast Electronics has begun trading as Radio Holland USA from the Jacksonville and Tampa offices, which now also carry the Radio Holland name. As a result the Seacoast name will cease to exist. New Radio Holland Location in UK

Imtech Marine Group and Radio Holland Group announced that a new Radio Holland service location in the southern part of the United Kingdom has been established. The office of Imtech Marine & Offshore in the UK will perform service activities for navigation and communication equipment, trading as Radio Holland. Imtech Marine & Offshore UK will, with direct support from Radio Holland, perform service activities from their service station in the Southampton area. The service area is the United Kingdom including Ireland. Predominantly the office will focus on deep sea and coastal shipping, both on board UK ships as well as serving international shipping visiting UK ports.
