Seasense Opens New R&D Facility, Florida

Thursday, April 28, 2011

SeaSense announces the opening of its new research and design facility in Bonita Springs, Fla. In addition to a new research and design department, it also houses a state-of-the-art quality control testing center. The new research and design operation is dedicated to developing new technologies for the marine and trailer industries. The research and design facility is the third new plant to be opened by SeaSense's parent company, Unified Marine, Inc., since 2006 when it opened a 40,000 square-foot headquarters operation in Newport, Tenn. A new 20,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution center opened in 2009 just a few miles down the road.
